Absolutely loved this chapter; very thought provoking. I consider myself at the moment to be a deist. I believe, maybe, in a God but not religion. Religion has caused far more problems and deaths than it has solved.
Interesting twist. I think we're about to find out more about Miriam. I'm looking forward to the marathon training; it should prove interesting. I'm also wondering where the whole situation with Harry is going. I am enjoying this story.
Just started reading this story and I like it very much. I look forward to the next chapter, although it will be the last. I will definitely be reading this story again.
Looks like Don is back in full swing in the bedroom. It's great to see Don and Louis back on track romantically. I do wonder where things are going with this children idea. I do know that there are handicapped children who need homes and Don and Louis have a handicap-equipped van and house. It could be interesting to see. Wherever the story goes, I look forward to going along. Thank you.
As usual, CJ stood up for what he believed was right and was ready to do what was needed but I am glad he didn't have to use the gun. And, as has happened before, Brett was able to sum it all up in a few short sentences. Love these guys. Thank you.
Finally, Don is starting to understand. I think Louis' outburst was a good thing. It also helped a LOT that Don reacted to Louis in bed. Really look forward to more.
I understand what Don is feeling but he was to listen more to Louis. I remember many years ago, an advice columnist asked people, it might have been geared toward women, if they would skip sex in favor of hugging and cuddling. No surprise to me, the majority said yes. Louis needs those signs of affection badly from Don and Don needs to realize this. I am really enjoying this story. And, just for reference sake, I am a straight older female.
Sometimes I wonder how humanity has survived. Why is there this need to impose such horrors on those different or not what is deemed "normal"? It's happened so much to so many groups. I cry for what you and others of your generation endured. TOLERANCE, ACCEPTANCE! The hell with love thy neighbor. Just tolerate or accept them. A very powerful, well-written piece. Thank you.
What a great conversation. I would say lack of communication is one reason many relationships fail so it's good they're learning early. It bodes well for their future.
This chapter had me tearing up. Everybody's handling things as well as they can but you just know there are some tough times ahead that can't be avoided. We haven't known these characters long, but I hurt for them.
