    Daylighting

A most satisfying chapter emotionally and physically. Even if Casey's mother can't or won't sign the papers they should tell Casey they wanted to adopt him. But I hope their plan succeeds. James' mom is the best.

    Friends

Thank god that awkward situation is over and done with and went well. If Simon can somehow relate to his dick again (no matter how abnormal I still think non-medical circumcision is), it's a step forward. I'm glad everyone shot Marco the jerk down; for once peer pressure might be useful, but unfortunately he seems to stupid to get it.
  3. I loved it, of course, but it ended too soon. If you know what I mean... And I think Aaron should have made more effort to spend time with David, when he realized the effect of their kiss. Nauseating migraines are awful.

    Chapter 7

The arrival of Dave, Deon and Ross at the combine set the scen for a chapter of anticipation and tension. So many things went on, I had to make a list while reading again. The story of Kevin was heart-breaking both for him and the girl he attacked. While I agree she should have told him and can't blame him for being upset, physical assault and verbal abuse was way over the limit. Yeah, he did redeem himself by getting her help and going back to apologize, but I can understand why it keeps bothering him. I'm glad Warwick helped him in spite of being understandably horrified at first. Oh, and they kissed ! The cockroach popping back up was bad news. I was fuming by the end of those confrontations and I cannot believe Julie or someone else didn't report him officially. He should have been kicked out immediately in order to show everyone else he was a troublemaker. But I was delighted with Dave's behavior and also with the way the two recruiters reacted. I liked them back in Leopard Spots, but even more now. The episode with Neil and Liam was very telling, Liam is still focused on helping Neil. I think they made the right decision about Neil staying with his Lilydale friends. Too much disruption is not a good thing, and Neil would be reminded of missing his parents all the time, if he stayed at the house. I wasn't at all pleased with Wu's behavior. Who is he to ignore what his best friend asks him to do or not do? For once I don't think Ross overreacted, his date is none of their business, even though Stuart is bad news.

    This Life

I'm glad to see CJ's dads took action, I like them a lot, and this made me respect them even more.

    Chapter 18

Slowly but surely Kye's injuries as well as his general state of health is being revealed. There are going to be a lot more -ing going on when they discover the extent of his scars and bruises. Tareth will have a fit if Kye lets him help with the bath in the morning, but I predict Kye will try to avoid it. So perhaps the doctor or even Lord Ash will be the first to see. I'm glad I was right about the cliffie. Mostly, I had faith you wouldn't kill Kye.

    Chapter 8

Hot and sweet at the same time. I'm glad Felix finally found what he wanted and needed.

    Chapter 4

The new chapter note works perfectly, LL, although I caught on quickly the first time I read the chapter. Perhaps because I had already wondered how Jason felt about meeting Corey and talking to Pierre. It says a lot about his new self that he was brutally honest and managed to earn Pierre's sympathy and be forgiven. The redhead can now be sure he was innocent and taken deliberately advantage off, rather than stupid. I know Jason hasn't told his family about Luc and why he wants to move to Kingston, but I still feel at the way they insist on pigeon-holing him as the same guy he was five years ago. I know about relatives clinging to their prconceptions about you, and being annoying with their continued disbelief. Fair enough, they were surprised when he made the decision, but they need to listen to Jason instead of pushing him back into a role he no longer wants. At least Drew seems to have caught on, and he'll now have the embarassing task of telling Corey too. I look forward to the wedding, but I cannot decide whether I prefer for Zach to stay away or arrive to add to the drama.

    Chapter 15

Well, Silas didn't get to stay on his knees for long. Does Daniel draw, paint, sculpt or something else?
  12. Thank you, LL. I loved the idea of Patrick being a natural parent. It's a shame he never had siblings since his parents did a good job too. Yes, all those small details are exactly meant to show how their relationship progresses, somI'm glad you liked them. Patrick a tease? once the dam broke, all his wants and dreams come pouring out. Peter may get swept off his feet.
  13. Dearest Dugh, I know all about how awful migraines are, so no need to apologiae. I'm simply grateful you spend time on my story and writing me a review - but most of all that you still enjoy the story.
  14. I voted for Picking up Strays, but I liked First Contact too.
  15. great story, I bought the e-book.
  16. Let me know how I'm doing. Stringing us along, that's what you're doin' LOL. I'm not surprised Ryan is a bit worried, he's sensitive and can feel Clayton is approaching an important decision. But he doesn't know what it's about, so he tries to gain a little distance while he waits for his lover to man up. But there was plenty of positive stuff to enjoy while we wait.

  19. What Val said. But he's not the only character you may change your mind about more than once...
  20. Yeah, I know, but I couldn't think of a better term. Ren anti-fan? Ren blamer?
  21. Perhaps not a story without an HEA But there was plenty of unhappiness along the way.
  22. unless you promise it will be a happy story
  23. Yes ! another Ren hater. Please do read and add to my ranting about the guy.
  24. Kellar had created his own world of doing good deeds by helping sick animals and people, and he's also made a nice home, even if he does feel rather lonely at times. He hasn't had much luck with the few times his world has collided with that of other shifters, but perhaps this will change now. It seems the Malaise affects the connection between man and wolf. Either you gradually lose the wolf characteristics (e.g. better senses and the healing factor) and the ability to shift, like Tobyn, or you go all wolf and cannot return to being human, like the old grey wolf. My guess is Kellar was surprised by Tobyn's comment about his wolf not coming out in the day, since Kellar can shift at will. I think Tobyn may be right about having found help, but where was he originally going? Great chapter, Gary, and thank you for posting it early.
  25. LOL, Drew, that's actually Aditus' story description, so nothing to do with me. But I'm glad this blog review made you aware of the story. Tell me when you're done with the forum, I'll be ready to give you a comforting
