Marc needs to stop clinging to Brad, and Brad needs to take a stand. Maybe they should go see the therapist who helped Brad and Robbie. Of the four relationships were saw portrayed here, this is the one I wouldn't mind crashing, unless the dynamics changes (which I hope). Matt and Wade are solid, Zach and Will volatile but strong, JJ and Alex live in a minefield, and Marc and Brad are descending into a dull, stiffling cocoon. I wonder where they'll all be one year from now

I would think it more likely that Jardines is the contact rather than the Govenor, or maybe both of them together. But perhaps it is someone else, who vill be there at the reception. I'm glad Jardines has found someone to love, and I hope he'll stay. I cannot wait to get rid of the Elgins and Granger probably feels the same way.

One wonders what Lord Elgin is doing to his poor wife causing such loud objections. Perhaps he not only grew a pair but is also getting to empty them in various ways - one of which would certainly muffle her.

I'm once again impressed with Granger's ability to be both honorable and diplomatic, even in the face of petty whining and boorish behavior. Good thing he had someone to vent his annoyance on, lol.

What about the friend Jenny has with the police? He or she might be helpful. A suspicion of murder would open the case back up, but I guess they need some sort of proof. On the other hand surely gather Gregory can tell Drake more about what exactly happpened. Did Daniel come out to him? Did pastor Simms overhear or did he tell him afterwards? When did Daniel leave and how long was this before he was found dead? However, I don't want to have too much focus on this, as I prefer to see Silas developing his trust and love for those who care about him. Particularly more Brady talks, please.

you mean this reply from JAR, right? I'm guessing Chris felt he'd shown his interest clearly and he was probably disappointed to find out that Colt had left the party. Maybe Chris thought this was a sign Colt wasn't really interested in return? And though we know why Colt does not pursue Chris, I don't blame Chris for giving up. Should be interesting when we meet him again. Edit just to be sure: I don't blame Colt for not pursuing this either. His reaction was not a surprise to me, I clearly recall how long it took Prime, Brian and CE to convince Colt of their interest.

He, he, I'm imagining the conversation Doug had with Rod. I bet it was epic. Neil seemed to have gained some confidence from having dealt with this on his own, even if we shake our heads about the way he went about it. I feel sorry for Ty, he's doing his best to encourage his teammates and hide his own disappointment about not being approached. We know the reason and that his dream will come true (if all goes well), but it's still hard to watch. Peter is beginning to groom Will and Julie to take over if he gets the job. This chapter had a lot of people refusing to look others in the eye, lol. Including Clarissa, concerning her interest in Deon. And I'm proud of Deon, he's come a long way since the end of last book. Oh and I loved Peter's expression about the sharks starting to circle.

This was one of the better prompts, in my opinion. I forgot so say in my review how it almost broke my heart to hear Sam tell about how miserable his life was. You did that part really well. A few terse sentences, yet so full of pain, I'm not surprised Al felt like shit. As well he should But the healing was good to see and I think these two may become best friends and Brothers-in-Arms. But you couldn't resist, could you? You simply had to end with another mysterious hint. you're in trouble now. JAR hates being called cute. uh oh, so am I...

Good to get some Will Drama and nice to see those three very different brothers being there for each other. Shame Mary Ellen didn't die giving birth. But then I guess we wouldn't get as much drama and intrigue... I'm worried about Stef and JP. I hope they get over whatever is wrong. -

I agree with Gary, Dylan freaking Quin out by staking him was hilarious, even if the background is serious. Zeke and the carpal tunnel had me laughing too. It's good that Quin calls Zeke, he will cheer him up.
