  1. Thanks for featuring these. I don't think I've read the 2004 and 2006 anthologies, so I'll be sure to check them out. I don't normally plug my own work, but the story I wrote for the 2015 Christmas Story Contest - "The Old Ways" is about Yule, which is today. So Happy Yule!
  2. Welcome, Jakey This is a great place to be. Glad you decided to come out of lurk mode.
  3. I have a little bit more to do on my write-up. I'll have it to you tomorrow, if that's ok. Sorry for the delay. The bulk of it is done, but there's some areas I need to give a little more thought to.
  4. Another story to add to the ever-growing list.

    Masquerade

I love it. Especially the personification in the second stanza. You prove, once again, that you are the master of form.
  6. I've read most of them. I think I still have one or two to go. It's a diverse selection that's well worth reading.

    Chapter 9

It's nice to see Kohen living in the now and making himself comfortable. I'm sad at the same time, since he can't think of anyone who ever cared about him. I have a feeling that's going to change, though. O Captain, My Captain... I laughed so hard at this line that I scared the cats. I’ve been summoned to deal with an idiot who didn’t realize mass doesn’t change just because you’re in zero gravity.”

    Chapter 23

Thanks so much for your support. There won't be a long wait for the next chapter. It's with my editor now and Chapter 25 is with my beta reader. I even started working on Chapter 26 today, so the next few chapters are in the works. Thanks for commenting!

    Chapter 23

You make some very good points. There's a lot of hurt going around and Galen isn't the only one that needs support. Thanks so much for reading and commenting.

    Chapter 23

Thanks I'm glad that Alannah's POV has worked so well. Galen has made some small steps, but it seems to be a turning point for him. We'll see what the future brings. Thanks for reading!

    Chapter 23

Alannah As I drove from Liam’s house to the farm, the fog rising from the evergreens that lined either side of the road brought to mind tales of Tír na nÓg and hapless visitors who entered the mists, never to be seen again. Me gran told the stories with relish. I think she enjoyed the looks of fear they inspired, no doubt in an effort to keep me from going astray like me ma did. Whenever I did something wrong, she threatened to send me the Irish Otherworld to let its inhabitants—the Tuat

  22. How soon would you need it?

    Slow Dance

This is lovely, Parker. You paint quite the vivid scene. I love it all, from the rhythm of the night to the classic jazz. It synchronizes in perfect harmony. Minor editing note: I think you have an extra "to" in the second line of the third stanza.
  24. Congrats! I love the cover.

    Chapter 8

A nice, hot shower washes away more than just sweat and grime... I can't imagine having to use something different. It was nice to see Cohen enjoying some simple comforts. So the captain gave up his office. I can't wait to read more.
