So, a little project for the guys to work on. Getting Liam and Alek together and comfortable. Sexually frustrated hockey players... So much fun.

Somehow, I doubt logic applies to vampire procreation. And I would guess Emma has never killed herself before. She was only 3% vamp and her heritage discovered through genealogy. But I wondered the same. Can MaryAnn guide her to an orifice? Or did the wolves 'deal' with the corpse in a more finite fashion? Another thing, I'm a bit concerned for Prime. His coldness reminded me of disconnected Sam. Not good.

The great test of time... No matter how in love you are, it is trying to live with another person. It's all too easy to disconnect, to move away in heart and mind. Then, if the other reacts with anger or hurt, you sort of think 'But I haven't done anything'. Exactly. I can suddenly realise it's been days without a proper conversation. Life just moves on. But if you act, it's easier to reconnect after a week than after six months. I try to choose my hubby every day. I choose to be his. That means I have to take responsibility. Our marriage doesn't just happen. It's a choice. And it sounds to me like you two have chosen wisely. End rant.

That's great, Tim! Guess 'we' got two golds each?

Keeping my fingers crossed for your handball guys, Tim! Go Vikings!

He is cute! Dorkilicious!

Okay... So I'm breaking the space-time continuum here, merging two worlds... But I simply must quote our esteemed author from another ongoing discussion. I made some wild assumptions about Emma. Got this for a reply. "Sent 12 February 2016 - 09:19 PM Oh. She's human ;-)." Right... And I'm thinking about yesterday's chapter.

I'm so going to post that on my Facebook. I have a few friends who post the most ridiculous 'empowering' images. This will shut them up. "No, all my problems won't go away if I remember to breathe..."

Glittery, I'm sure if you go back through the thread, you'll find a lot of weird theories from yours truly. So no need to feel bad. We're all (well most of us) very confused.

A song that I felt might capture Colt's view of himself at times. (The bridge should be sung by someone else, perhaps Prime?) Just to warm up for the bad news apparently coming...

They say sharing is caring, but I don't know if it'd be fair to Matt or Jenny to get them together like that. I might be a romantic, but I was in Jenny's shoes once. In hindsight, I'm glad I couldn't just 'get it over with'. Now, it was with someone she really wanted to sleep with. Not a practical lay. And Parker, the first time for a woman can be very satisfying. LOL Also, breasts aren't filled with milk by default.

Yes, David. It's not a longterm plan to pin your whole life on one person. Not fair on you or him. So a fuller life for you is good. Still, I get the difficulty in understanding when it's you or when it's actually the relationship that is flawed. Mike seems to be dedicated to making it work and it's not just lipservice. Time will tell, I guess.

I can't imagine 'the Card clandestine cake club' breaking up over something as ridiculous as sexual preference.

His mother acted like a prick, thinking only of their precious image and the political career of her husband. Weak, just weak. Still, the senator seems to know the score. If the parental units insist on pulling him though, he should go to the press. Two hours..? Way to go, fellas...!

Good thing Julie got a fair warning not to get her hopes up about Michael. Even though Amy might be taking it a tad too far, practically outing him. Still, I guess she decided Julie isn't going to tell anyone or spread rumours. Nice to see her get to hang out with friends. She needs and deserves to have a life.

This French pole vaulter Renault Lavillenie just gripped me. The image of him crying on the podium during a moment that, despite not getting the gold, was supposed to be a happy occasion is so sad. And Brazil won the gold! Why did the audience have to behave like that? http://m.bbc.com/sport/olympics/37104031 The audience was also very derogatory towards the female goalkeeper of the Swedish soccer team. Very unsportsmanlike. (If that is a word...?)

String from Your Tether Unwinds
Puppilull commented on Dayne Mora's story chapter in String from Your Tether Unwinds
I can't even imagine the shock of having your parents turn into complete and utterly disgusting strangers right in front of your eyes. Cory... I feel so sad for you. I bet your brothers will see things differently and it wouldn't surprise me if the gene pool loses another son or two in the process. Preferably all three. Just charge your phone now! -
Clint will have to be satified he could take a stand for showering at least. Sensitive noses everywhere thank him! And hormones aside, he did the right thing to not experiment with Travis. I think that could have been a sure way to ruin their friendship. If things should develop over time, then maybe. But as it is now, it's better to not act on curiosity. And Brent... Why are you so angry...? Is it because the whole school is talking about your best friend? Or could it be jealousy?
-
Now that is how you celebrate New Year's! LOL I'm wondering what or who will be the monkey wrench in this...? Will something go down in the cabin? Cabin fever due to a storm?

I think the guys would do better with a proper honeymoon. Might make it eaiser to actually focus on other things... LOL I'm sure Park can step in for a few days.

Chapter 18 A Day of Reckoning
Puppilull commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 18 A Day of Reckoning
So, we get an explanation to the malaise. To have the whole "The earth mates are necessary to save the pack" is romantic but it would make me kind of depressed if I were a shifter in that pack. Mates are incredibly rare and where before other relationships were probably viewed as a good thing, now instead they will almost be an act of selfishness. Kellar implied one or two pairs wouldn't be enough. So anyone who doesn't go out to search for their mate is somehow not doing their thing for the pack. Also, how will the already 'married/dating but not mates' couples feel about this? With the fear of being killed while looking for other packs/shifter looming over them, it's also a lot of Mother Earth to ask of them. Maybe it's my belief that there are not one but many Mr/Mrs Right for each of us that colors my perception. To have only one true love would mean any previous relationship was somehow less of a love. I don't think that's true. Perhaps this is something for the forum... Tobyn should really learn to listen before he takes off, but having your world repeatedly put on end could test anyone's maturity. Also, Kellar could have just said "I won't discuss this now" and let it be the end of it. -
BOOM! Or perhaps rather BUUUURN! http://www.upworthy.com/andy-murray-just-had-to-remind-a-reporter-that-venus-and-serena-beat-him-to-his-record

The march seemed to go as expected. I never thought Avery would just let them march. A bit much to use pepperspray and I doubt Secret Service can just remove a person without any other cause (his mother could be in serious trouble if she made them do that), but Dorian seems to be handling things quite well. It will be an interesting discussion with his mother...

So, a HEA after all. Hot ever after that is. Will they ever be truly happy? Maybe their own brand of happiness, yes. Noom won't let anyone close enough to Kel to even look funny at him. Kel can keep them quite comfortable, as long as he does it on the sly. No need to make Noom feel like a kept man. And a possible family on the horizon. Good or bad? Maybe we'll get toknow more in some other installment. Thanks for sharing this amazing story with us! I've waited so eagerly for every update and it's been a wild ride.
