I think I know what you're saying with these words. So, in the end, I smiled.
Don't know how, but I almost missed this.Ooops, best pay better attention....
I finished reading that series almost as soon as the final book was released. Re-reading them seems like a good idea...
After I finish book four of Ella Frank's Temptation Series, that is.
yeah well, sometimes my mind grabs onto things - I'm like a little terrier that way - and changing directions or seeing things in a different way doesn't always work for me. I'm glad it was light-hearted. I do stand by what I said, but feel free to knock the "dark" bits to the wind, and keep the rest.
Oh, no you're not.
Over the course of the time I've known you, your creative mind has blessed us with many wonderful stories to read and intelligent and compassionate words to take as our own way of thinking. You have a brilliant mind that can't be silenced, no matter what. This poem may be dark, and scary and sad, but it's not just anyone who could string these words together as you have.
Love you lots, my friend as do many, many more.
To love and cherish someone so much that you'd slay their dragons if you could? I'm just stunned - happily so - by the declaration of a protective love that bears no qualifications or conditions expressed in these words.
this
moggy, I would ride that roller coaster with you anytime.
Numbers two and three - words of wisdom
Number four made me laugh, I think my brain is twisted...sorry
Good job on the lot of these, moggy.
I like them all moggy. Number one speaks the loudest for me. They are all powerful for the stories they tell.
Well done, moggy
PS: I wouldn't know anything about form even if it hit me in the head. However, I do like that you were able to say so much in so few words.
Burlington doesn't have major industries like the cities surrounding it. Nor is it a university town like it's neighbour, Hamilton, so it's not surprising it gets overlooked.
The intersting thing about these two places is that they are - from something I read long ago - the only two cities in the world that connect at their western points - something to do with how they are situated along Lake Ontario.
