  4. After 54 years together, Jack and George get married. http://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcneal/finally-wed#.hgRL44w7yV PS: Kudos to the judge for performing this and many other ceremonies while she was officially on vacation!
  5. Batman and Robin. The Dynamic Duo and now Masters of the Love Scene!! Not surprising in the least. Never having ironed bed sheets in my life, I kind of wondered about that part, but then I thought pristine sheets do enhance things, don't they? Nicely done Tim. PS: I wonder what would happen if you and Gary collaborated on a story? Hmm...
  6. There was, of course, lots of wonderful things going on in this chapter. Well, not the nasty neighbour lady, but I'm hoping she makes herself scarce - you know, to avoid seeing what she does not approve of. The lovely old gent from next door just might be visiting his old neighbourhood quite a bit after he moves. His friendship with Grethe seems to be blossoming - and not necessarily in a romantic way - and I'd bet he has visitation rights to his roses. Loved the scene where Patrick came home, not only to a houseful of family, but to a hot Neal as well. says a lot about what he had been missing in his life. Lastly, I enjoyed the reference to the Richard Scarry book. I had one as a child - and I think my parents still have it at their home - It was an oversized book which has me wondering if all his books were like that. It certainly is a great tool for Michael to learn English words. I would usually say at this point something like, I wish it was Sunday already so I can read the next chapter, but today I don't have to because Yay! It is Sunday!!
  7. Happy Birthday Carlos!! I hope you have a fantastic day my friend! Well aren't you Mr. Popular. Seems Mann also made a birthday topic in your honour - damn and I've been waiting for months for this. Oh well.. I tried
  8. Out of likes but I this story, so are more appropriate. Not to mention they work with the subject matter too. What an incredible mission this pilot was on! Just wow... Did I mention this is a really cool story? No? Well, it is!
  9. Okay, so this is so totally not what I was going to talk about in my review, but what the heck, I'm jumping on the bandwagon for this one. Like the rest off CJ's fans, I am appalled by Barnardo's behaviour. What a cretin!! I can only hope that Jose shows the integrity he displayed in Ch 12 of Autumn when he made a pass at CJ at the Annual National Dinner. CJ shot him down and he backed off - his chaste kiss at the end of the night was a sign of that. I really don't think he is going to let his cousin get what he wants. He may be family, but that's not going to mean squat to Jose - I hope... As for the 'rents, this is why parents should meet their kids friends and associates. Cesar and Brett messed up this time. They know and like Jose so I guess, by extension, that put the cousin in a favourable light. This is going to be an eye opener for them without a doubt. As for Barnardo, will it be thumb screws or a walk on a short plank?
  10. That was great!! A shifter who doesn't know he's a shifter until... Excellent start to this new tale of yours Gary. Looking forward to more, yes I am!

  14. This was an absolutely terrific story so thank you very much for writing it K.C. I will be liking the chapter as my Like machine allows - though it seems to be perpetually broken so it may take a while

  19. At first, I wasn't too happy with Patrick's resultant punishment due to his suspension - as evidenced by my comments in the forum. However, having had a few reflective moments since then, I see that it was a necessary outcome to ensure that future story line dictated "dominos" fall into a logical and realistic pattern. I'm looking for a particular pattern so I will be watching carefully as the dominos fall. I hadn't really thought much about the ne'er do well relative of Brett's but has spikey hit upon something in his theorizing? I could see him trying to causing trouble...foolish man. I have to admit, I had forgotten about Owen somewhat. Something else to ponder. Excellent chapter Carlos!
  20. Congratulations times three.! Love the cover art for Shades Champion. The new title works too as Dory really was Shade's champion. This story was the reason I bought a Premium content subscription. It is just that good.

    Days 8 to 14

Hey tim You've done it again! Reading your finished works, it all seems so effortless as they flow so smoothly, but I know it is not. I truly appreciate the stories you tell in few carefully chosen words. As always, nicely done.
  22. Incredble! I can't even begin to comprehend what it took for the researchers to figure out how to make this work...
  23. Okay, time to bite the bullet and admit that this story has reached an end. I was thinking as I read this for the second time, that Jared and Craig should write a how-to manual for relationships. They may have started late, but they certainly know what is important to get things right. They are truly equal partners and what each brings to their relationship is not judged as more or less than what the other partner brings. Kudos to them for not getting bogged down by that foolishness. I'm glad the situation with Bailey's bio dad and his family was addressed. The cousin seems like a good guy and I think he would agree (if he knew, which really isn't necessary at this point in time) that putting Bailey's wellbeing first is what is important. Martha was in full nesting force with the plans to make Bailey's room more little girl and family friendly - so nice to see that. Overall, this was a terrific story and I'm glad it turned out to be a "fail" as an anthology. Jared and Craig had quite a story to tell. They needed every one of these 11 chapters to tell it properly and properly "they" did. As always, well done my friend. Your talent as a writer and storyteller is immense. Thank you a thousand times for sharing that talent with your flock of hungry birds.
  24. Def, red is your colour! Lullaby is really lovely. Well done my friend, well done!!
  25. I'm really not sure what happened, but I'm guessing something "shinier" distracted me. One thing led to another and a bunch of years passed. I'll get to it soon. I hope...
