Great interview, Cia and Mitchelll...
Mr. Brightside is a story I would recommend to everyone..
I agree with Lisa about Viktor. I was unsure of his character at first, but he surprised me.
Looking forward to what’s next.
Ok, yes something is afoot.. But I’m more inclined to believe it’s Jake who messed up and doesn’t remember, than a third party. Who would be so cruel.
What if he was so anxious about meeting Eddie he drank himself into a stupor, Eddie had to clean him up and made calls to let people know what was up. It would explain Nat, his dad... oh, I don’t know.
Until the next chapter I might go nuts myself..
Great review ACand congrats on the feature tim....
This was a wonderful story. It has all the distinctive qualities of a fairytale, yet it remains original. An absolute delight to read.
It’s a delicate balance. Orpheus still is the puppet master as it were, even as Caleb is surely becoming less of a puppet it looks like. Caleb needs to tread carefully, play smart..
Great chapter ...
This has to be hard, and you help me feel what Jake is going through, but Jake is lucky. He has a good amount of awareness and can contemplate how his choices affected others around him. In this case it’s Eddie.(I wonder if it will extend to Nat) That awareness will or should, hopefully help him achieve sobriety long term. So far he has taken ownership of his alcoholism. There’s no real blame (yet).
If Eddie is about to lay some hard truths on him now I wonder if Jake will be able to handle what he’ll say. It’s all well and good to know what you’re doing is bad and push someone away before you hurt them. But Jake had alcohol to deaden the feels of all that. Im curious..
Great chapter Cole.
