I haven't commented in a while, and I wanted to say how much I continue to enjoy this story! I marvel at each new thing Lucinius tries! His villa is amazing, and the mutual admiration between him and his "boys," now men, is wonderful! This enjoyable, well-written story is a bright spot in my day each time a new chapter is posted! Thanks.

Great chapter, and in spite of how things might turn out with Lee's leg, this is a major turning point for several of your characters! Lee (himself), Avery, Anna and Bill, Greg, and the other regulars all will be rethinking their relationship with Lee, and maybe each other. Makes me think back to why Camp Refuge was started back near the beginning of the first story.

Another really good chapter with Ritch letting his upbringing show! I am certain the Dads are proud, and I bet his Mom and Dad would be too, if they were living. As for the skydiving, it is still on my bucket list. I sometimes wonder if sixty-nine is getting too old, but most days I'm thinking "nope." -

Really good writing as usual Tim! Although I can see and know a few compassionless arrogant apes, I would like to feel better about most people. To paraphrase Anne Frank, "I would still like to believe most people are basically good." I appreciate that your writing always provides food for thought. Thanks.

So sad, and so well written. Even more sad, this fiction could easily be true. From Avery buying drugs for Lee out of love, to Lee slipping up and taking the drugs knowing better, to the hasty reactions and judgment by the adults at camp, every action felt real. Thanks.

This story was interesting and aggravating. I really liked the format of telling the story from a fictional character's point of view. Mark is a well thought out character, and I thought the way you wrote his growing disgust with the trial was wonderful! I could feel myself getting worked up right along with him! Being from the United States and being in college in the early 1970s, I knew nothing about this trial. I can remember peoples attitudes toward homosexuals at the time, and I was not surprised by many of the actions and reactions. I am looking forward to reading your future stories of this nature. Thanks. -

Congratulations on a well written chapter! Actually, the entire story is well-written. This just seems extra! As I read the comments, I kept thinking, "He has stirred cast and readers up even more!" Great descriptions of Jada's horror! And along with most other other readers I can't believe what all just happened! One question: was the second wolf Fergus? I assumed so, but many readers described him as another beta. Thanks.

It goes without saying this is another good chapter! I am enjoying watching Ritch blossoming as a person and as a potential military officer. It is great to see bits of Carlos, Brett, and CJ coming out in Ritch. I'll repeat an earlier comment I made. It is really good to see Ritch being the main character and moving out from the sidelines! I enjoyed this chapter and all the speculative comments from readers! Your writing and dialogue really capture the way I think a deer and a sympathetic wolf would talk and interact. When you have finished this story, and don't be in a hurry, you might be interested in another shifter story with a wolf and a deer. I believe it is here on GA. It is the only other deer shifter character I have ever come across. Sorry, I can't think of the name. As far as I am concerned, you are doing everything right! I love these characters, and I can't wait for more story! Thanks.

Another good chapter! I like the signs I read that make a relationship between Cyn and Shea probable. I wondered if you chose cernunnos as the name for deer shifters, or read it somewhere. I believe this is the first place I have seen it. Thanks.

OMG! This story is getting better exponentially! I already love Cyn, and the new characters are great! I enjoy lycan/shifter stories, and more and more I find myself interested in stories with "other" shifters, not just wolves. Can we expect a romance between Cyn and Shea at some point? I'll be anxiously waiting for the next chapter! Thanks.
