  1. That's awesome. I would love to have an old typewriter.

    Chapter 4

Another great chapter. Damn... someone is cutting onions around here.
  3. More to add to the growing list of practice pieces.

I think that's about the time, I started talking, and hanging out in the DIC.

    tim

I can't believe I read this and didn't comment on it!!!!! Well, you already know my thoughts. You told the tale wonderfully, and I think that you and tim are perfect for each other. I wish you both a long and happy marriage.
  6. Amen, @MacGreg. I've always heard the phrase, "Praise in Public, Criticize in Private." Too bad more people don't follow that.

    A New Life

Thanks for Reading, cognac69. Brayon, Chandon, and Jill play a roll in future installments of the series. They get a mention in "book 2" and they share the spotlight in "book 3". Book 4, I'm plotting now, and they will be in it along with the others.
  8. It works now. Also, I appreciate the quote you used from me. 🙂
  9. I'm liking it for both Fantasy and SciFi. 🙂
  10. I subscribe to both clubs, and SciFi is my bread and butter. I love it. (Though I'm having fun with a modern drama right now. I told my editing team, I'm needing to add something fantasy or SciFi to it, or I'll loose my SciFi creds. LOL ) I got two stories in the works that are SciFi based. From my July CSR interview:
  11. Sounds good to me.
  12. I'm getting this, clicking that link:

    Chapter 3

Another excellent chapter. I'm enjoying this story very much.
  14. Thanks!
  15. Thank you, Myr for the update. I'm looking forward to trying these new features. Thanks to the other staff as well, for all of your hard work. Quick question. For existing Series, will they automatically populate into the new format, or do we need to manually do it?

    Chapter 2

Another fine chapter. I'm liking the interaction between Chris and Carl. The new lady caseworker sounds like she may be trouble.

    The Jar

Wow... just wow... An awesome short story, tim. Well written, great visuals. I love how the jar contained, that critter, and how it all worked out. I think it may have been a Mayan god, with what you said about the Golden Snake. Plus the other events, like the sudden stop of the Thunderstorm, the Bus arriving ahead of the tracker app, him getting a seat, that he normally doesn't, and then the whole boyfriend and job seemed a little on the Good Luck side of things. With the parents dying, I think that cut the safety net that held the old Thomas and allowed the critter/god/spirit/etc. full control. Great work, my friend. You left me wanting more.

    Chapter 1

An excellent start to the story. Looking forward to more. I'll admit, I teared up at Carl taking care of Chris.
  19. Both of them are good prompts this week. Hopefully, I'll get one done that is shareable on GA. *coughs*Not another P.W.P. story*coughs*
  20. Yes. I've been on it a few times, too. They really need to make the train service more viable. So, you work in Ybor?
  21. I can watch it, but I'm not really into it. I do like this Japanese car show where they would race two cars, first to see who has the faster quarter, and then they go full out for top speed. I have an acquaintance who goes over there for the Tokyo Auto Salon every year, and he'll record the shows and the car show. I noticed you said trains... There will be train travel in the first chapter of TC4.

    Embed

Just copy and paste it in the typing field, like you were typing a message. Then let it sit for a moment, and it should automatically embed. If it doesn't it's one of those videos that cant. On YouTube click the share button, and use the url there.

    Embed

I've seen some links not embed, while the vast majority does. I'm not sure why that is.
  24. I just noticed I left a review, but I didn't comment. Anyways, I'm happy to read both your version and Mike's version on his blog. It's a great contrast between both of you.
  25. I agree with all of the above. It was heartwrenching, powerful, and well written. Loved it.
