    Dawn of Tears

There is a Status tag that the Admin can use that reads "Author Deceased" I've seen it on a couple of stories. The Admin needs to know this in order to flip it on their unfinished stories. Sending a PM to any of the Orange Staff members should help with that.

    Chapter 1

    Excellently done.

    A Knock on the Door

Thank you very much, Backwoods Boy! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to give some credit to @Mikiesboy as he assisted with the content editing.

    The Class

Excellent story, tim. 🙂 The whole build up to the end was perfect.
  5. Thanks, @Valkyrie With the name, I found a website that has some of his stories.
  6. I haven't read it, but it does sound interesting. I'll be watching this thread to see if someone knows of it.
  7. McCain was a true Hero. He will be missed.
  8. True... *Hopes this means he can write about the TRUE Halloween, Samhain*
  9. @Myr I agree with everything you said about the Star Trek franchise. I did watch the first half season 1 of Discovery. (When someone downloaded it, and showed it for us.) All I can say about it, was it had nice eye candy, but is chocked-full-of-political-bias. I haven't watched another episode since. (I did like the Head Engineer, and the main Doctor being an out Gay couple.)
  10. I've always been a fan of the rail-cannon. The USNavy has a fully functional system in sea trials. That can be adapted to space, as it's reactionless, and uses magnets to launch solid metal chunks. It would have the velocity that the ship was moving at, plus the additional speed from the launch cannon. It's also a staple of the SciFi genre.

    Jupiter Run

I just logged on, after doing some classwork, and the first thing I saw was a notification that Myr posted a new story. This short scene is excellently written and had great visuals. Had to fill in some of the details, myself, but I could practically see and feel Valin's fear as he ran following the lights. Left me wanting more!

    Chapter 5

A very sad chapter, but one that needed to be in the story. Having been told some of the backstory in this, my heart goes out to them. Thank you.
  13. tim, my friend. When you first posted about your walk in the DiC, I was mesmerized by it. Adding in the poems, turning it into a Haibun, all I can say is wow. Purely magnificent.
  14. Good luck and Prayers to both you, and your Brother.
  15. These are being added to the practice list. A golden oldie, from Prompt #678:
  16. Awesome!!! How many more chapters are you looking at?
  17. It's 1:45 pm EDT. I've been getting some major lag spikes, the website slow to respond, and failures to even connect to GA. Toshiba Laptop with Windows10 Firefox latest install Spectrum Cable from Tampa, FL Just giving you a heads up.

    A Knock on the Door

Also, I figured I shouldn't tempt fate, with a primordial god of love, that has become the Patron of gay men in the Pagan community. LOL, This dry spell may have ended up a lot longer than I want!

    A Knock on the Door

Thank you, Parker. I appreciate the feedback. The prompt when I first read it, had me in different directions, and with the series, I am working on, this felt right as a way to entice people to read the series, get a glimpse into what it running around in my head, and helped me with seeing things in a new perspective.

    A Knock on the Door

Thanks, tim. You're the best! Circle, shrine, and a ton of wards is the best way to handle spirit summoning. However, when one drops in unannounced and proceeds to talk about unpublished chapters, knows what's in the fridge, and can plant suggestions and urges... you got to listen. 🙂

    A Knock on the Door

Thank you, deville. Circle and a shrine room, are always right. Especially if you get a real angry spirit; In this case, I didn't have a choice. 😉

    A Knock on the Door

Thank you, Chris191070. I started and stopped this piece a few times, and then I needed a little bit of a mental break, and this one just flowed.

    A Knock on the Door

Thank you, Mike. I'm glad you liked it. I have a bottle of Absinthe here that I hardly touch. I could get my Earnest Hemmingway on and drink an Absinthe cocktail, write drunk, and edit sober. LOL.
