  1. That's what I had to do recently as well. Though, I ended up deleting Backup and Sync in order to fix a different glitch in the system.
  2. Thanks for reading, and for the comment, jaysalmn. I had plans for Duncan from the beginning, but it was for him to become Adam's significant other. His week of a retreat was him building up the nerve to confess to Adam what he's been hiding for a while, and his brother Ian was trying to help him through the divorce. There may be a short story later on that shows the trip to Key West for Duncan.
  3. Thanks for reading, centexhairysub. The Trafficante family is a legit mafia family here in Tampa. Though they are considered "defunct" now by experts. It's an interesting chapter in Tampa's history, that we had a Mafia Family, and they controlled the whole state of FL.
  4. Thanks for reading, jp. It's one reason why Tibs wanted Adam to stay out of what he was doing. Adam is working on the high-road, with their attorney Carol, while he goes low-road, and takes out their knees. For Tibs part, he thinks by going to his world, he can protect his family, and pay back some of the debt he owes Adam too.
  5. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback, FanLit. Chapter 7 is about halfway done now and getting ready for self-edits before heading off to the editing team.
  6. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback, Sweetlion. Chapter 7 will address a lot of this. Luckily for Rob, he won't fall too deep into a depression, because he's at Adam's parents' house.
  7. Thank you, Everett, for both reading the story and for the comment. I debated myself about adding in the second line but did so as I felt it would be an interesting look into the dual-nature of Tibs. It's a very Southern thing as well.
  8. Thanks for reading, mfa607! They get what is coming to them, in Chapter 7.
  9. Thanks, for reading, Wesley, and for the feedback. Adam wants Tibs back in his life, and this will put him back on the path.

    A New Life

    You're welcome! ☺️
  11. I'm gonna have to change my rank title then. LOL.
  12. LOL. Then you need some Minions.

    A New Life

Thanks for reading JeffreyL. I had originally planned to do a couple of chapters but ended up just doing one. However, with My Son, I had the opportunity to bring the characters back. In the Next book in the Tampa Chronicles, Book 3, Brayon, Chando, and Jill will be with Adam, Duncan, Rob, and Giles.
  14. You need a sidekick... I agree. People are various shades of grey.
  15. Thanks for reading JayT. Spot on with your insight. Tib's help is going to teach the Turners a lesson.
  16. Thanks for reading, travlbug. In the court, Tib's help isn't really necessary. Sending a message to back off, yeah it's needed. Michelle's parents are bullies. Best way to beat a bully is to fight back, and Tibs has the resources to neutralize them.
  17. Thanks for reading, Chris191070! Chapter 7 will address what you brought up. I'm about a 1/4 of the way done with it.
  18. Tampa’s road system is built around a network of major roads that includes three interstate routes, two toll roads, and several county, state, and federal highways. It wasn’t always like that. Like lots of smaller cities when the first interstates came in, Tampa blossomed to a large thriving metro area dependent upon them. Where two of the interstate routes meet, I-275 and I-4, the Tampa locals affectionately call it ‘malfunction junction’. Duncan and his brother Ian sat in traffic, stuck b

    In Silence

I read your D/s poems, and I get little glimpses of your's and Mike's life. I see the love you have for him, and him for you in your words. You, my friend, are a stronger individual than I am. Another excellent poem. Well written, and you can see the dynamic between a D/s, when sitting at a Dom's feet, and the meditative quality of it.
  20. I think Myr's philosophical mood yesterday rubbed off on me. After some introspection last night about this topic, I think I can clarify what I was thinking when I posted this topic. It comes down to a level of respect. I personally feel that an author, who doesn't interact with their readers, or the community at large, is abusing the site. I completely agree that publicity of one's work is needed if someone is publishing for money. However, there should be a minimum of interaction on the part of the author. Otherwise, it feels to me, that they really don't respect the community we have, and just using the place to advertise and generate revenue. If that is the case, be honest with us. Put a disclaimer on the story, that is what you are doing, and send GA some love in the form of Advertisement fees.

    Darker Themes

GA requires that warnings are used in certain specific themes. Such as Sexual Assault and Incest. Aside from what is required by the site, I think throwing a warning on the chapter, is a waste of time, and spoiling the story. I do agree with tim that the Story's description on the main page, should be used to convey such feeling and tone of a book, in a creative way. Also, there is the new Death tag... It was added earlier this year and has seven-stories with that tag.
  22. Again. Happy Birthday Myr. I'm wondering if I need to apologize now for starting this thread now. LOL. 😋
  23. @Dodger I am not justifying that person's actions. I have four GA members on my ignore list, two of which are authors. They've never commented on any of my stories, but I will say if they did, I would still ignore them.
