I agree with you on Harry Potter. She made a great world, and the movies were an awesome telling of them, but I disliked the main story she did. There was a number of other characters that I felt would have been better, like Cedric (RIP), or the Twins. It's why I like Fantastic Beats so much. I've seen shared world stories before, and participated as well, through an Online RPG that was a hosted server for Neverwinter Nights. It was an interesting experience to write, or RP a character in a world designed by someone else, but you were allowed to write a story around one person. Within reason, and with restrictions of course.

@Jason Rimbaud thanks for sharing. I sometimes think about my Aeris story while in the showers in the morning, or when I take my walks at night. On your last point about the story that was a lot like Lost... I actually worry about that with my main Aeris story. With how many "Alien Invader" type SciFi staple stories out there, I'm trying not to cross over into someone else work. It's nice to know others have felt that pinch as well.

Wow... just wow. This story was fantastic. I enjoyed seeing how Colt and Ryan interacted, the fear Ryan had, and the heartwrenching decision Colt had to make. Excellent story. Would love to read more about them.

My Mr. Right... wish he was rich. Granted - but they forgot to leave the key. I wish I had more time to prep for dinner tonight.
-
Is he rich at least? Granted, after the ceremony with the Justice of the Peace, a US Marshel shows up, and whisks the two of you away into WitSec. I wish I knew the secret of converting Straight Boys.
-
Granted - but you can only control it in reverse, and only in increments of 100 years. Granted, but your are now so busy, you don't have time for your wedding, I wish I could find my Mr. Right, and not Mr. Right now.
-
Granted - he now calls you when you right as you go to bed. I wish I knew what to have for lunch.

I must have been cutting onions... *wipes tears* So, this was an excellent story. I liked the redemption aspect of the story, and the sensitive nature just adds to it overall. Thank you for writing this story.

I've been on a Love Story kick lately. This fit the bill. I loved the interaction between Nick and Josh.

Granted - Your new home is a Supermax Prison. I wish I had more time to write, and read all these good GA stories.

Lately, I've noticed, when I've decided to sit down and write, I like a calm environment. Used to be I could sit in Starbucks, or even McDonalds, and be cool. Now I want calm. I typically write now, in my bedroom, at the desk, or on the bed. Earbuds in playing music to get me in the mood. A beverage of some sort, standing nearby. Usually coffee, or water. My music selection depends on what I'm writing. For my SciFi story Aeris, I play the Halo 5 Soundtrack on repeat. What about you? What is your writing environment like?

For the record, *coughs* after reading this story, and all of the SatW to date, I'm firmly in the #TeamJacob camp.

Have not read Cards on the Table either, so thanks for pointing that out. I will look in on both.

I've not read Cards yet. I know it's tied a little into the A.I. series, but is it tied to This one as well?

This is a short story, that takes place over a Thanksgiving Holiday Dinner. A quick read, and one that I hope to see the characters again at some other time. I would most diffidently recommend.

I read this the other day when I did the other prompts. Just getting around to leaving a comment. This story is complex. Contains a lot of Description, and emotion of the main character. I thoroughly enjoyed. You could tell the main character's emotion state of being kicked out of his church, his family, and then learning it was all a joke. Excellent job. Seems to me, a bit of experience might have been the inspiration for this one.

Sandalwood is by far one of my favorite scents! I love this scene. The emotions of the characters do come out, and you can tell the characters love each other. Thanks for writing it!
-
A very well written prompt. It's funny how family knows, sometimes before you do.
-
A great Sci-Fi story set in a world that the Author has invented. It is one that I would love to read more about.
-
This is a fun story about a Shifter and a Non-Shifter who have fallen in love with each other. Sasha does an excellent job in exploring the attitudes, loves, and desires of the two main characters, and explores the role of Family with both of them. A great read for a nice Sunday afternoon. Five Stars.

This was a great story. I missed it when I was searching for a good Valentine's day story, but @Timothy M. brought it to my attention. Very well written.
