I would like to think Torry did that on purpose but there was no way he could have known that would happen. What would his next move have been? Excellent chapter I'm liking Gus more and more but jeez a YANKEES fan???Well nobody's perfect. When I saw the title of the chapter I pictured Gus singing on the boat like a gondolier but I guess the connection is how the surrounding sounds of the lake are like music. If Rick had remembered to bring the beer maybe more would have happened.Kidding😄 Actually it still might. Two chapters without whatshername but all good things must come to an end.

In the chapter comments of the previous chapter I said Chase was the biggest a-hole in the story and he might still be but jeez Mark is giving him a run for his money. Emma grounded for week for saying what page are we on?🙄Mark has no idea he's one big black cloud in that house. This is not a suggestion it's more like a possible prediction.I see Mark finding a way to keep Kaylen and Trent apart because Trent is a bad influence(I can't see Mark finding out about the gay stuff yet)Trent will miss seriously miss Kayden.I then see Trent finding a way to get at his family's resources maybe with his Mom's help because she seems to have a good impression of Kayden then he will get Kayden out of the house and away from Mark.I guess Trent would have to figure out the tuition also but Chase is rich so maybe there's a way.This could go a lot of ways so this is just one possibility

So Grandfather want Lucinius to be in the Senate.That would mean Lucinius would be away from the Villa but I can see Aumen and Aaneas being capable of running the place.But first have Lucinius buy some more boys(that sounds strange to say)And after he gets more boys to help and they get to know each other then he could go off to the Senate. That boy they bought must be incredibly brokenhearted the very idea your father would sell you because your too inconvenient for him.I bet that boy's father and Appias would be buds

Lucinius of course should get a lot of credit with what he's done with the place.But the way the boys took care of the animals Lucinius didn't even know a lot of what was going on and they did a great job. Dogs weren't domesticated yet at that time right? So there would be no chance of a stray coming by and being adopted.

The boys at his villa are awesome.Okay here's what I see happening if Lucinius does get his grandfather's villa and he tries to give it to Appias then Appias will have too much foolish pride and won't accept it from Lucinius.Lucinius could give to his Mother unofficially I guess if that happens.

It sounds like the Grandfather's will out live Appias.So with that in mind how who would get the properties when the Grandfather's die?You would think Celia would get her Grandfather's estate but I don't know if the law at the time allowed females to inherit that .I'm guessing on that part.So that leaves Appias Grandfather estate Duccius will already have his father's place would he get that too?How would they sort this all out?

His father will already be annoyed because Lucinius had a better yield than him that's why Duccius bought so much.Something about rain eh?Somebody should tell that twit that it didn't rain more at Lucinius place then it did at his.

That is such a loaded statement that could go so many ways just read the newspaper everyday.I definitely include myself in that statement.

In a lot of ways Lucinius is more mature than Duccius who thinks he must obey his father.In that sense Lucinius is more free he's absolutely right when he says to Duccius 'How old are you?". I guess the only risk Duccius would have is he would not inherit his father's place but so what It's probably better to live at Lucinius place.I hope his mother outlives his father that way she can come live with Lucinius

WOW!!! Hey I get it I didn't care for Torry either but look at it everyone involved was a little guilty of something even Dexter if anybody says no along the way none of this happens. I am not suggesting this for a second but the only way everybody could be happy is if all five agreed to a FWB thing among themselves. But I don't know how that would work Kevin gets to fool around with Sarah and Dexter and Sarah fools around with James and Kevin while Torry and James and .....aggh it would be a mess. I do think Torry should pay some price but a smaller one after all he's still a kid and a sad lonely one at that

Very well done.I saw a little bit of what was going to happen but some I didn't.As for any suggestions I'm totally confident you'll come up with something good but if I were to suggest something it would to make sure Dexter ends up being happy. BTW Kevin's dad is as subtle as a time bomb LOL

The boys showed how fiercely loyal they are to Lucinius they started acting like slaves because they didn't want to be the cause of a riff between Lucinius and his father.I assume some of the boys when they become men will have skills that they can use in the city should they decide to leave but for the right reasons.

And you're more modest then them also😄

At least Lucinius father is smart enough to make peace before it's too late.But I guess we should wait to see if Addias says the right things.I'm betting when Duccius inherits his father's property he will treat the slaves like Lucinius does. I think if Lucinius or Aumen get married and the wives want to treat the kids as slaves that would be a dealbreaker

I kept having a picture in my head that on one of Lucinius visits to his Mother that one time Appias would there very drunk and there would be a soap opera style confrontation.However The conversation Lucinius had with his Mother give me hope it won't come to that.. So Senate seats are inherited?What if the Heir is not qualified?You think they would change the rules after Appias got in.

Learning some things about how they preserved the meat.Dis they do that in the U.S.during the old west or colonial days? Duccius is learning a lot of things but he had to be a good guy to begin with if the boys asked him to go hunting with them.

All I'll say for Torry is at least he kept asking Kevin if he was okay that was something.Dexter showed a lot of depth in this chapter. I made a similar guess in a previous chapter I emphasize the word guess.I still don't believe Torry has magical powers but I said before maybe Torry and James were working together.Well I will now revise it to say maybe Torry and Sarah are working together.Why would Sarah do this?Sarah either thinks or knows Kevin is gay is this could be a scheme to get him to see that. If I'm wrong well what else is new LOL.After I posted this I noticed @Wollter had a similar thought but if that's the case it would be Dexter getting Kevin.

If he didn't already know it Duccius can see how much wiser Lucinius is then Appias When you see how everybody was concerned about Dante you can see the people working for Lucinius are more like family then co-workers

Duccius knew what he was doing when he invited Lucinius and co. for wine it's like he knew he got his father's goat. I guess it's natural for somebody to want to try to be on their own but I think Dante is going to realize he made a mistake.

Duccius didn't seem to be aware of how their Father treated Lucinius.It might be interesting to see how Duccius feels about his father now.

What a cliffhanger.I knew Zeke has a dangerous job but wow so many men after him I would like to hear more details about Zeke's work. I wonder if Tyler running into the house is due to him maybe being suicidal .This could work out because it's such a crazy move the bad guys aren't expecting it.
