Funny, I was just thinking how impressive you are in your own editing. Not an easy task or at least not for me. A little oops out of all the stories I've read so far, you get a pass. 😎

Love the DG's power approach. Reminds me of a private meeting years ago. My hand was aching at the time, so I was working one of those small exercise balls. The oddest thing happened, slowly at first, almost imperceptibly, the man I was meeting with started a squirm. His eyes kept shifting to my hand that was working the ball. Suddenly, I realized every time I squeezed it, he'd shift nervously until finally he crossed one leg over the other rather tightly and was leaning over as if protecting himself. Being all of 5'3.5" (hey, that half inch matters) I've never seen myself as all that intimidating but in relating the story to my hubby later, he said it sounded like the poor guy felt threatened and emasculated. Who'd have thought a shortie with an exercise ball could carry so much power?

Absolutely stunning and the cost for Year 12 in 2025 is predicted to be a mere $40,335 for Riverview so just imagine the tuition if there was such an institution in Perth?! Pocket change, right? {

The mission Andrew gave Brian... Did I miss Andrew attempting to check in with his asset at some point? With everything the young man, his boyfriend, and friends accomplished with Enrico’s assistance, one would think Brian would have earned his way clear of CSIS. Again, with Brian, great news on the new wheels, but what he really wants is seeeeex!

Again, in the midst of all the anxiety inducing action we are gifted with hilarity of the host system logs... experiencing a phantom data breach evidenced by a misplaced recipe for poutine. Seeing cigar cutters has always brought to mind miniature guillotines and the various ways the device could be used. It’s almost amusing that Wolf didn’t pick up the meaning when Enrico closed it with a soft, audible snip. Perhaps he finally reconsidered after Enrico advised the Water Wolf he’d find out precisely how painful a Pomeranian's castration could be. Just the thought, ow, ooww, OOOW!! Given the thugs further damaged his 'son', dear Papa won't be amused.

Start with Alejandro, a well-trained operative and the teenage son of a character from a previous story. He’s bright, educated, and far more knowledgeable about the secretive life of intrigue than is common for his age. Soon, he meets a fellow student and pastry chef, Brian. Coyote amongst the sheep offers drama, suspense, twists and turns, trials and tribulations for the characters. While Alejandro, or Alex as he prefers, is a seasoned professional even as a teen, we see Brian transform from a normal everyday student to a ninja giraffe in a chef’s hat.

The professor is quite adept at the emotional torment of his readers. My own anxiety level has shot up through a number of his stories from the tumultuous relationship of Will and Andrew, waiting for them to finally solidify their relationship, to Brian’s current devastation over losing Alex, and how to maneuver the legal battles ahead. Fortunately, we are gifted not only with drama, unrelenting suspense, twists and turns, trials and tribulations, but also a generous share of lighter, and often hilarious moments. Thus, leaving us all in a desperate need of a nice cup of tea. Yes, many of us prefer Java, but eventually the need for relief from caffeine and a bit of calm calls forth. Poor Brian. No time for rest now; one must learn whether the document is signed...

Perhaps I should have said Ninja giraffe in a chef's hat. 😉

Here we have another delightful adventure by Topher Lydon. Climb aboard, folks. Capt vs Goofball is quite an adventure where chaos meets order. Not sure why no one has offered a tissue warning, as this story has the audience laughing to tears. And don’t neglect to read the hilarious comments following each chapter! Now then, time to move as our dear professor has more stories on offer...

“I have a five-page, bullet pointed ‘how-to’ set up… and I even linked my sources…” Bless his heart, Kenny is such a boy scout. I don't see Steve going that long, but your Kenny seems... thorough." If only they knew bullet points! 🤣 The last few pages were a struggle knowing this story was ending soon. How's that for a compliment? Thankfully, there are more stories already waiting.😘

And here I was concerned you’d forgotten to include the standard horse’s head. the Hickey crime family had finally cemented their mafia control over the town, and it was down to a lone detective without a badge or a gun to set it right. Ah, our hero, the intrepid investigative journalist detective donning his dapper fedora. Ok, so hero might be a bit of an exaggeration, but Blake’s playing the role to perfection. Kyle folded like a cheap suit. Again, brilliant and I can't stop laughing.

“Last year he auctioned off my Miata in a school raffle,” Blake said with a harrumph. “Grand theft auto… not endearing… though he did make nearly twice what I paid for it… and only charged me 25%...” Bwahaha Steve is such a scamp. “He paused as he squinted, looking closer at he snippet of a business plan mission statement printed there. ...how in the hell had Steve gotten his hands on an obviously internal document for some kind of business. Mr. Goodman, Madam Chao, and a VP Chase Stirling… the cheesy action novelist in him dissected the names in seconds.” Oh fudge! Looks like Lydia should have considered an NDA for her brother. This is an absolutely brilliant twist.
