I'm not sure when I wrote this tbh, about six years ago??? A short piece about a college boy named Bill who meets his interesting hallmate, Eddie.

In the South, ice storms are rare and messy. It's possible to lose power and heat for days at a time.

They are also a great excuse for parties, if you've got power and heat.

This story is inspired by a big ice storm that hit Memphis, Germantown and Collierville some years ago.

After a year of being gone, and not being able to remember what happened during that year, you would think that Graydon would take it easy and try to figure it out. But he justs wants the horrible dreams to stop and he doesn't want to suffer from them.

Telia of Furian is in love with The Princess of her clan. A battle is imminent in the Empire, and The Princess orders her to protect the soon to be Crown Prince. Telia's heart breaks at the thought of leaving her beloved behind in a battlefield.

This story is about a young adult who is madly in love with his straight best friend.

Sammy leaves his upstairs bedroom and finds his mother downstairs with a psychitrist named Swisser who is there to talk to Sam about his sexuality. An appointment is made. Sammy calls his lover whom he does not yet live with, and tells him. Josh recognizes the shrink's name. He's got something on the shrink.

Born with hereditary spastic paraparesis, Simon had spent most of his life in a wheelchair, unable to walk and barely able to use his hands. To his parents, home schooling had seemed to be the only way for Simon to get an education; yet Simon was smart and yearned to be another Stephen Hawking - not to live with his parents until they became to infirm to care for him. He decided to take a chance on applying to the Bronx High School of Science, one of the best public secondary schools in the world. Going to a public high school would be scary, but there'd be new opportunities to live life, and to love.
