A Member of the Sanitaria Springs universe, this one is different because the inspiration for the main character - in fact, borrowed the main character from another work on GA (with permission). Many thanks to Craftinmom for both her permission and her editing. All mistakes are mine.

A short story inspired by Prompt 709.

A detective is woken from his bed in the middle of the night.

This planet should be paradise. No one in thousands of kilometers, just nature and my archaeological excavation, my own camp with all the latest technology... Yeah, paradise, if it wasn't for my inbuilt fag hag, Lisa, who is out to make my showers shorter by cutting the warm water... and the hunk that is stalking me... and don't forget the fundies in Shboa, who are out to get me.

Jack Shaw has a problem: he hates being Jack Shaw. He pulls his best friend Dawn into a solution, and both wind up in tough positions. What, if anything, can lead them back?

Asher and Seth just graduated from New York's top public high school. With so much to celebrate, their parents throw them a surprise party, where they meet new friends. The son of a black Creole father and an Asian American mother, Asher has developed his own style of Cajun-Asian fusion that has earned him a reputation as one of New York's top chefs. Both boys will begin college in the fall, but first there is an opportunity to help Asher's parents realize their dream of opening new restaurant.
