Little snippets set in the MetaWolf universe, inspired by prompts, of different length, posted in irregular intervals, mostly dark, sometimes light-hearted or steamy, always adding to the overall story. Most likely not enjoyable without being familiar with the MetaWolf series (Meta, MetaOrigins, MetaShadowLands and MetaBattles so far).

A lonely, older man has spent his life hiding his sexuality. One day, by chance, this changes. Then a young man arrives to help him widen his horizons, as he slowly comes to terms with life as a gay man.

There is personal, and then, there’s stuff that’s not personal. Boundaries are good to have, and Mason Knight believes he knows the difference well, as he has known for a long time. That, until one weird day, he finds himself moved by music, jumped by a man who could make the heavens sigh with his looks, and … what else? Ah, a ghost suddenly wants to keep him company. Mason doesn’t believe in ghosts, except this guy, well, he seems pretty much real.

After attending the local Pride, will Eric Whitehouse reconnect with his old workmate, Rob? What might it mean to both men if he does?

Prologue.

When I was in college, I had a friend that worked the summers at various resorts. In the fall when school would resume, he’d hold court at lunch and tell us tales of his summer experience, showing us his trinkets, that’s what he called them. Based on those tales, I wrote the following story, Home Away From Home.

Be warned, the story involves explicit sex between gay couples. If you have read any my other stories, this will be quite different.

Ethan has a plan. No dating, nose down and get good grades so he can go to college on a scholarship and get away from his drugged zombie mother, criminal father and what's left of his siblings. He's going to drag his best friend Mason along with him because someone has to look out for the moron. The best laid plans are broken up by his greedy father, and someone who cares enough to defend Ethan.

Everything had wrapped up the way he wanted. The country had attained peace. The people were prospering, the country was prospering, and personally Kalian was thriving. Things were perfect and he was...bored. He hadn't wanted a life of violence but now thrust into a life a bureaucracy, he found he wasn't happy either. He soon finds himself wishing for a break from the monotony.

He should know by now that you should be careful what you wish for.
