How many words do you need to tell a story? Here are my attempts at micro-fiction - a series of unrelated mini tales, all under 50 words in length.

593 Riverside Drive is a kind of drawing room comedy about the difficulty a woman living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 1925 has in getting a divorce and the narrow-mindedness of one of the male lawyers in the subsequent trial. Still, there's a lot of humor in the rudeness, especially when Uncle Herbert's around. The book will serialize on Fridays, probably through November -- WELL, THAT HIT A MAJOR SETBACK WHEN I HAD A TRULY UNEXPECTED STROKE ON OCTOBER 2ND. NOW, I'M HOPING TO FINISH EDITING AND POSTING BY THE END OF FEBRUARY 2024.

The more he tries to make sense of how he really feels about Robert and the more he tries to remember his accident the more aggressive and worse Jasper gets. As more insane memories come flooding back to Kalum, the more unexpected turns him and his friends face.

I work with words everyday and sometimes work takes a sit on the second (or third) row to let me play with words.
