Joel's day has been completely normal until he comes home to find his younger brother sitting out on the front steps. After a word of warning, his life abruptly changes when a careless mistake reveals his one secret to the rest of his family.

Jeremy has convinced himself that he is madly in love with one of the most incredible boys in his entire high school. Beautiful, popular...and totally not interested in Jeremy. While he longs for Steven, day and night, he just can't seem to figure out what he's doing wrong. And yet, his heart can't seem to let him go and move on. What is it that Steven seems to dislike so much about him? And should he keep trying to build a bridge between them, or is poor Jeremy just wasting his time?

This story was written as an addition to the Sanitaria Springs series of stories. Those are stories written by Dabeagle and other authors who he invited to contribute. They are about events in the lives of several teen boys who live in the fictional town of Sanitaria Springs in New York State. The stories are interwoven and this particular story picks up on a character first met in a story titled 'Without A Trace.'

I do not think it is essential to read that story before reading this tale as I believe there is sufficient 'back story' here to enable this one to stand alone, but feel free to do so.

3 months later sees young Arnold in a better place than in ever before. He has friends, his family is beginning to care about him once more and he's starting to tackle his demons. Things are going great until the arrival of a new kid flips his entire world upside down.

Elijah sometimes feels as though he doesn't belong. He's still in the closet, and he is the only Jewish boy in the whole dorm. During the end of the school year, Elijah's friends make him feel included when they gift him a Jewish ornament, a menorah, to hang from the Christmas tree in the common room. When it goes missing overnight, the consequences threaten to spoil the holiday spirit for everyone. As Elijah pieces together what happened, he discovers more than one truth.

Sean starts getting texts from someone who isn't out, but needs someone to talk to. Despite some initial thoughts about his friends pranking him, he decides to help this person virtually though a series of text messages.
