Do you believe in love at first sight?

A teen boy and his Gay best friend spot a girl in the Agora one day, and the auburn youth falls head over heels -- much to his friend's surprise. A week later, the boy has a plan to meet her and sets it into action.

A couple of young guys in the present try to figure out a mysterious legend from the past.

Meanwhile, some years earlier, a young, Native American wife is being admired by a young warrior from another family, temporarily stranded because of an injury.

And there are bears.

Adlai Ben Yusuf the son of a humble carpenter, grew up in the village of Nazareth in the troubled land called Palestine. With with his brother Tavi and cousin Cephas he enjoyed the usual escapades and misadventures of a normal teenage boy. Whereas Adlai was scholarly and introspective his brother Tavi was an extrovert. He was a warrior, an adventurer and a womaniser; trouble followed him relentlessly. Being popular and well-loved, he was his father Yusuf''s favourite. Then suddenly a simple mistake occurred which was to have tragic and far-reaching consequences; consequences that have endured to the present day.

Lihai is a pickpocket. Kutanga is a respectable apprentice. Lihai's green-blue eyes captured Kutanga's heart the moment he looked upon them, but the mysterious boy he meets in the market hides something that endangers any who dare to love him. Loving another boy is of little consequence, but to love a Changeling is unforgivable to some.

Su Yin is eighteen, he is a foundling child, he is pretty, and he is a virgin. Unfortunately for him, this means he qualifies as his town's sacrifice, to protect them from the anger of the yaoguai who lives in the mountains. Su Yin is sent to his death in the high temple, but the demon he finds there has things other than death on his mind.

It's a brand new day in the Nile delta, the sun is being pushed across the sky by a giant scarab beetle, and Anubis is bored. Luckily for him, there are plenty of distractions for a young god with a wandering eye. Unluckily, there are also responsibilities to be seen to, and the jackal headed god of the underworld has never been very good at denying himself what he really wants.

When Horus and his family leave the city of the Gods to travel up the Nile, Anubis resigns himself to being bored without the company of his oldest friend. He does not however plan on being awoken in the pitch black to discover that the sun has been accidentally sealed into a temple, and that he is the only one qualified to retrieve it. If only such quests were simple.

In ancient history, a chiseling king with an overbearing pride was stopped before he could gain immortality. Thousands of years later, he’s rising up again to fulfill his greed and this time six novice teenagers are chosen to end him and his evil ambitions. These teenagers will travel through time and mythological books to accomplish their goal and along the way they will find some dark secrets about that king and themselves.
