This is my second story. It is mostly nonfiction with a little fiction mixed in. It is based on an real-life experience of a close friend that I thought would make for a good short story. He provided the skeleton and I filled in the dialogue with his approval. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed hearing it recounted to me.

Rough Justice is a thriller and a love story in which two young men discover that love is about more than sex. In his new school, Robert is severely provoked by a fellow student and the Headmaster whose dogmatic religious beliefs have led him to the brink of insanity.

When he falls in love, Robert's life falls into place - until attempts on both young men’s lives force them to take extreme measures, the consequences of which pose an ethical dilemma that could destroy their new found happiness.

College professor Geoff Johnson's 1890's Queen Anne style house is so big he has to hire someone to help maintain it. Usually, every four years that person has always been a freshman at Warnton College where Geoff works. The house is always full of students many of whom Geoff has had affairs with. This year all of that comes to a crashing end when his life takes a dramatic turn.

At fifteen CJ Abelló is exiled from his home in Miami because of his sexual orientation and sent to live in Washington, D.C. with his gay father and his father’s wealthy partner. Over the next few years, CJ flourishes in his new home thanks to the love and guidance provided by the two men and their group of friends. He is nearing graduation from School Without Walls High School, ready to begin his freshman year at Georgetown University, and volunteering in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Eighteen year-old Cam Franklin's life changed when he went to lifeguard orientation for the community pool. That's when he met Ian Greenely, the boy who would actually change his life. Little did he know, he had a few more life-changing events in the year to follow.

If life was there for the taking, then it might look a lot like Kay Walker’s life. A good family with liberal and accepting attitudes, doing impressively well at college both on and off the field, a big circle of friends, and a promising future.

Of course, there are a couple of problems with this picture. Firstly, it wouldn’t make a very interesting story. And secondly, perhaps more importantly, it’s not quite true. Or at least, it’s not the whole picture.

Ryder is good looking, popular and on the top of his football game. At fifteen what more can a teenager want? When his dad a legendary coach takes a new coaching position his life is uprooted, and so is the past that starts to take a toll on Ryder.

Soon after Sam gets a new job, he meets Brian and is immediately enchanted with him. Will Sam dare make the first move even though he is not out to anyone at his new place of work? Or will he wait to see how Brian feels about him?

The semi-autobiographical story of a straight college boy named Matt who realizes he's not so straight when he crosses paths with a gay high school boy named Parker...

Kyp had enough smothering to last him a lifetime. He overcame so much to graduate high school. Now that he's finally at college, he's finding that the start is harder than he thought.

He has a roommate for the first time in his life, and people who would like to be his friends if he'll let them in. Kyp wants to be independent, but circumstances beyond his control will teach him that sometimes the second half of the race is the hardest part.
