Flux continues the CAP series in 2002, where everyone is still trying to cope with the horrible aftermath of 9-11, and is trying to move on with their lives. Many of the characters in this story were introduced in prior stories.

Will’s an aberration—the only beta to be born in 100 years. The city used to be powered by a machine invented by the last known beta, Schvesla. The monarchy has employed countless craftsmen for a century, but no one can make it run. The city relies on steam power, but now Will has reached his full potential there's a chance he might be the one to return the city to the golden era. He's smarter than any other person alive, but will that be enough?

Gaia-Town is a collaborative project that seeks to give you characters and stories that entertain and challenge you. Not everyone in Gaia-Town is honest or true and sometimes that makes for surprising situations. What it hopes to do is question our perceptions of that world, and therefore ours as well.

Ashton is exiled to the middle of nowhere where nothing ever happens when his stepdad gets a promotion. Boring, small town life is not how he expected his senior year of high school to go. He's got plans though. His eighteenth birthday means the release of the trust his dad set up before he died. As soon as he gets his diploma, he's gonna split. Just him, his car, and his camera. He'll take pictures of everything, everywhere. Make a life on his terms and no one else's.

Ayden worked hard to make a better life for his son; he was so close to being done with school, then he could get one good job instead of working two jobs and studying at night. Then they could move out of their tiny apartment, into a nicer place, and have a decent schedule. He just wants to give Anthony a better life, all the things a little boy wants and needs, and spend quality time with his son. Of course he'd ask Santa for a dog for Christmas.
