Last spring, Jeff was reunited with his long lost love, whom he last saw nearly fifty years ago, when they were both in their teens. Abandoning a life in California and moving in with Paul in New York City, merging two lifetimes into a 3-bedroom prewar apartment proved to be more difficult than either of them imagined. Things come to a head when they can’t agree on how to renovate the kitchen. Leave it to Paul’s grandson, Seth, to come to the rescue with a surprise plan, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Charlie and Kippy are planning a casual Fourth of July evening: pizza, getting together with friends, and then fireworks after the sun goes down. Little do they know that they are about to have visitors, and be off on a new adventure that takes them farther from home than they have ever been before!

Asher and Seth, two teens in New York City, just met on Halloween, but already they've discovered a shared passion for Star Trek and Classical Jazz. When they discover that neither has a place to go for Thanksgiving, they decide to create a traditional Thanksgiving feast together for themselves and some friends. What could possibly go wrong?

Summer vacation had started out well for Derry and Caleb. There was much to occupy two adventurous boys in the rural landscape in which they lived. They had the woods, and the fields, and the waterways to occupy them.

And they had each other.

But then they made a discovery - a strange place hidden in the forest, a pathway to lands beyond description. And suddenly, the summer was not quite so simple any longer.

This series uses the Camp Refuge setting. If you want the best reading experience, then read Guarded, Camp Refuge, A Silent Song, and Broken. They are shorts, though. So if you're feeling impatient, then just dive in.

I will update this sporadically, and each chapter will be stand-alone (mostly - there may be recurring characters down the line).

I really wanted to create something that showed off the effect the camp has on regular folks just coming to camp. Little snapshots of lives lived and changed thanks to Greg's dream.

Brian and Lanny cross Europe on a low-budget trek. In the process their respect and affection grows.

The summer that began with Rules of the Road is drawing to a close. Brian and Jeff have become close, despite their inability to have their relationship out in the open. But time and events - and people - have a way of adapting, and the closing days of summer are just the starting days of new things.
