Jason wasn't confused. The rest of the world was.

Everyone knows what Christmas is about. Jesus, of course, some say. Excessive consumerism, others reply. But is that really all there is to it? Two young teens learn that it might be more than that.
A short story for reflection.

It’s Thanksgiving and Tommy Weston is busy making out his Christmas list. It’s a rather lengthy list and there are several expensive items on it, but he knows his parents can afford to get him these things. He’s an only child, somewhat spoiled and maybe even a little greedy. He thinks the world revolves around him and expects to get nearly everything he wants. That’s until he meets Jason and learns about his life.

The 4th Spinoff story from the "Shelter" series, an ex-military officer is forced to race out into the threat of a total social shut down to save his son during the chaos of a zombie apocalypse! Can he get there in time? Or will he lose the one thing that means most to him as the world falls apart?

While climbing a mountain the narrator has an epiphany.

This is the ancient tale of Theseus, prince of Athens, who tries to stop Athens' tribute to Crete. He will not only meet a monster in a labyrinth but perhaps the love of his life. But the Gods are not always friendly. Being a plaything to the moods of the Gods, Theseus and Arian are stranded on the isle of Naxos where they will meet their fate and a God's private competition.

Ben and Joshua met in their youth, working at a summer camp. More than fifteen years after their bitter sendoff, they meet again and spend a weekend together in a secluded house in Vermont, by Lake Champlain.
Switching back and forth between past and present, coasting on issues of class, gender, and identity, the three-part story explores the anguish and beauty of growing up and of getting older.

A "Gone From Daylight" spinoff told way back in the time of knights and kings, where the sword may not always be the most effective form of defense, no matter who wields it. Another tale of vampire influence throughout human history! Enjoy!
