We all have a Christmas wish, something we want more than anything. Michael has just been granted his. This story is based on the 2004 anthology theme "Christmas".

Derrick has recently left the comfort of his old school to attend a new prep school on the other side of town. He may not have their money, or their possessions, but once he finds the love of a boy he meets on the bus...he finds something much stronger.

A middle-aged reckoning with the past: a moderately successful gay author stops in New York on a book tour, and confronts memories of his school days. How we perceive ourselves, how we perceive others and how others perceive us, can change as our vantage points shift in time and space.

Outted at thirteen, Orin left home after high school hoping to escape the hell his life had become. When a tornado destroys his childhood home and kills his parents, Orin finds himself in an entirely new nightmare. He returns home and confronts his past in the person of his one-time best friend, Thomas. Thomas not only rejected him when Orin came out, he led the group that tormented Orin into leaving. Struggling with his grief, Orin also labors to fulfill the pledge he made to his parents before their death. In the process, Orin learns that sometimes when you go away to find yourself, you leave the answers you're looking for behind.

A night out to reflect on one's failure can have unforeseen consequences.

"A Cold Spell," the fifth installment of my "Pleasant View" series is unlike anything that comes before or afterward in the ongoing lives of Jack, Brad, and friends. "A Cold Spell" is my foray into the world of sci-fi, and is also my homage to the eerie events surrounding a tragedy and a mythical (or real) creature that some say still haunts the hills and hollers of Appalachia.

Looking for gay stories in the late 1990s, I ran across an author named Comicality and his stories stood out from all of the other stories I could find at that time. I explain how a simple email turned into me getting to know one of the nicest and most encouraging people I’d ever known.
