Danny and his horse, Angel, relocate to Florida so Danny can attend college, there he meets CJ, the love of his life, all goes well until one fateful day...

The old gods live: to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. This must be understood, or nothing wonderful can come out of the story I am going to relate.

The Severe Climate Awareness and Relocation Services agency, S.C.A.R.S. for short, was founded in 2043. Charlie went to work for them 50 years later and will assist those living in areas adversely affected by the extreme changes to relocate. Since this is such a major undertaking, Charlie questions how they are going to accomplish this and why previous generations hadn't done more to prevent it from getting to this point.

Law professor Pascual Di Falco was equally feared and revered by the students at Lucas Valverde's university. But when Lucas became one of the top students in Pascual's class, fear and admiration gave way to something else entirely: maddening, unjust, and wholly inappropriate – the love Lucas felt for his professor would eventually prove to be his downfall.

The mighty wizards Khaalindaan and Norlorn fought the final battle. The Aglanthol wizard Norlorn won. Khaalindaan's spirit, however, is only banned for a thousand years. Once released, it will aim at Aglanthol's destruction. The time is over. The time for Khaalindaan's return has come. Only one man can stop him. The wizard Neldor, the royal soldier Qildor, his friend Magath, and the old woman Gwyn are getting involved in the fight.
