Like @Backwoods Boy I had to check out the Wikipedia entry on Martial.  I don't care if he was straight or gay, but I was :rofl: when I read this epigram.  I bet he and Oscar Wild would have been a riot together at a party.

Thanks, Terry! I'm about to post a few poems by Martial the Great Mirror that are of the "serious" variety :)  I'll follow up soon with a similar selection of his tongue-in-cheek (pun intended, LOL!!!) poems. Some of them are killers
