I've written zero stories, but I have an idea.

Your story was one of those I wasn't sure I wanted to read. Don't get me wrong, it's very well written, the timelines flawlessly interwoven. The message is clear, true, and right. But to what avail? Look around us. They forgot, and keep forgetting, or never learned. Maybe you're right in writing a story like this. Silence is wrong; silence from desperation is wrong. In the end, you quote one of my favorite poets, who was born in my hometown. We had to fight to name our university after him. Why? Oh, why?

Rory has been forced-fed the utter truth about himself and, on top, cursed to never be able to lie again. Tough love. And spontaneously, my mind displays many faces who should at least take a long view in this mirror. One can dream. I enjoyed the story with my soggy muesli, entirely your fault. And I dream.

At first: Congratulations to Gary L. I'm a little behind on everything this year, but I will read almost every story; one or two descriptions/tags make me wary. Anyway, I enjoyed the stories I read and am looking forward to reading the rest. Thank you, authors, editors, and Cia.

We have two fig trees in our garden, and I always thought they had some kind of magical aura. The fruit, jam, and pesto are always welcome giveaways. But who cares, right? The story: I liked the subtle build-up. The hints made me ask, could it? Is he? Maybe? That's good writing IMHO.

Cat. I don't know what to think about the humanized cat, but he comforted a dying man and accompanied him in his passing. That I can see.

That was exactly what I needed: short, sweet, funny, and awwww.💖

I liked reading the facts first. The description of the way they entered the island was well done. The end was indeed short and sudden. Just the facts.

I freely admit I never ate and never will eat chicken wings, but I understand the need for a special sauce, and the spices sounded scrumptious.

This was fun! You had me with "Rub me hard." Oh, and "I am not a people. I am an event." Even better.

Okay, now everyone will believe me when I say I didn't have time to participate. I'm going to try to read them all. Life is still crazy.

This year I’m going to clear out the shed. I’ll try this long hike someone recommended. I won’t sleep in every day. I’ll eat healthy, all these yummy vegetables and fruit that are available now. I will finish the story that has been on hold for so long. Summer break starts on Monday, and I have a very long list. What about you? Maybe try to write a prompt story? PT Prompt #352 Dale bought an ice cream maker, but vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry are just about that: vanilla. He wants to experiment. Write about the wild flavors he creates and their reception. PT Prompt #353 Summer promised their mom that they would finally renovate her porch. First step: DIY store. But then there is this dreamy guy who crosses all their boxes, and Summer can’t help but follow him through the entire shop. In the garden department, he suddenly stops and turns around. OMG! They grab the nearest (add random plant here…). Please include the prompt number either in your story/chapter description or title to help readers who would like to search for specific prompts.
