Writing out my obsession

I hate my works. I have to write an article on a topic I'm doing my research, it's based on my Master thesis that was highly praised, I have all the good cards in my hands but I still can't get myself to finish it. I gave myself a deadline for today to help it. But I can't even look at it, nor read it, or even more, fill in the last blank places.

Cool site!

This site is pretty awesome. If you enter text, it will pronounce it. For some reason some words are not usable like the f word, c word, and whore. Otherwise you can do pretty much what you want in several different languages. http://www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php

The Worst Game to Play

It may be the worst game to play, but it's funny as hell to watch. It's called Roshambo. There's no reason to say what it is. The videos speak for themselves. I must also warn that there's some foul language. The reason for it will be obvious. I'd cuss like a sailor too if I were playing. And no, I would not play. The game is insane.   This first one is a couple of college guys from the UK.     This second one is middle school kids in the US. Their version involves Rock, Paper, Sciss

can't bs a bser

so just now, I got back from dinner with my friend. He is like an okay friend, I was kinda close with him in high school but he soon got annoying and irritating beyond my wildest dreams.   he called me a few weeks ago wanting to tell me about "pre-paid legal" and my genetic instinct (passed down by my father) deducted that it was a load of bullshit. but, as a good friend, I weave webs of illusion especially with friendship so I asked him to hang out and he wanted to go to dinner tonight.   n

here is a petty annoyance for you....

Meat markets. Sorry its not what I come here for, sure telling another person they are good looking is cool. But having to read about a person slobber all over themselves is just... not cool. If you want to slobber over yourself take it to a pm. That's what they are for.   This place has gotten more and more like a strip bar and its kind of off putting.

Lotus Takes Position

Yet another image I can't quite get out of my head. For once, the names were very specific.       Her cry was barely louder than a whisper. I'm surprised I heard over the thundering of my own heart. "Hold!" her guard ordered, and we did, taking the moment to regain our breath as Sergeant Danath knelt at her side. "Dame Lotus?" he asked, curtosey dripping despite the circumstance. Never mind that the woman was my grandmother, mages of any rank or class were not people to idly piss off.   "T

Coming out.

so, I came out to my friends last night.   I picked up pizza, drove over to my friend Kate's house, and I came out to my friends.   it went something like this:     Me: "um Kate, I have something to tell you."   Kate: "yes, Matt?"   Me: "I just turned down a booty call."   Kate: "YOU WHAT?!?"   Me: "I, ummmm, I just turned down a booty call."   Kate: "what? why?!?"   Me: "ummmm, because..."   Kate: "yeah..."   Me: "I, ummmm... how do I explain this..."   Kate: "go on..."

It's just a sad time, overall.

Despite the all happy mood here for the lunar new year, still it's a sad time.   Yesterday morning, when mom was driving me out somewhere, I saw a lump of something on the ground. I really shouldn't have been curious to found out what that is, coz when I finally realized, we had run over it. It was a dead cat. I swear it was already dead when we ran over it, but still, I burst out crying. I could almost feel the pain of it. And it's to be the year of Tiger. Kind of ironic, for me.   And Lee

Texas is strange

So I was checking out a long range forecast, and it looks like even March is going to be cold. This year has been weird all the way around. And then it says above normal temperatures in April and May. One might think that a cold winter would mean a cooler than normal spring and (hopefully) a cooler than normal summer. Apparently that is not to be. And people say that Texas weather is not extreme.   http://www.almanac.com/weather/longrange/region/us/11

How I feel all the time

I'm tired. Being the local freak-tard is exhausting. I have reached the point to where I despise them as much for their pity and charity as their ignorance and superstition. Humans really are despicable and disgusting animals. It is better to be a beast.

Dear DomLuka

I've read lots of stories, enjoyed some, didn't care much for others, and really feel in love with a few. But this takes the cake. never EVER have a had a story impact me so much that it's constantly in my head, morning till night, through work, school, and even in my dreams. It's taking over my body, my mind, everything about me. It's to the point where I go to sleep thinking about it, wake up thinking about it. It's driving me completely insane. I've maybe spent the most time on GA over the pa

Brutal DVD Reviews: Zombieland, Pandorium, 9 and Moon

Zombieland - is a movie I was all set to hate. A redneck, a geek and two female grifters turn out to be much deeper and more engaging characters than you would think at first glance. It turns out that the very skills that made these characters only marginally functional in ordinary society made them excel at survival after the zombie apocalypse. This ain't Shakespeare but it's good for a few laughs.   A great bros & brews action movie. A-     Pandorum - Hated it. I'm not sure whether i

Team Corporate.

so, I walk into the office this morning (five minutes late, mind you), and I'm confronted with a couple of new additions...   posters.   on the walls, on the doors, in the halls...   posters.   appparently, the new office manager decided that we didn't look corporate enough, so he's decided to cover every square inch of the office in posters.   posters.   new deli department!   new fruit and veg!   new seafood!   new new new!   and, of course, the corporate logo is promin

Brutal DVD Review: 2012

Wretched, bogus, implausible, horrible, badly written, plastic characters, a circle jerk of chicles, really, really bad science and the worst ending in the history of movies.   Neutrinos that heat up the earths core? The writer should be beaten to death with a physics book.   Fails the science, barely pases for fiction.   Skip it or watch it for computer generated graphics- the best part of the movie.   The CGI is all this crappy, craptacular crapfest has to offer.   Don't be a fool an

Update on The Sorcerous Prince

The new series I'm working on is called The Sorcerous Prince. The first chapter has already been edited and beta read. I have sent Chapter 2 to TalonRider for editing. I will be starting on Chapter 3 very soon. The story is about a prince named Mihai. He is the descendant of royal and imperial wizards and witches. As the story begins he has not ascended, so he has not yet come into his power. I will post Chapters 1 and 2 once I have Chapters 3-10 finished, and I believe that will not take long i

Hubbell was an idiot...

The Way We Were is one of my favorite movies. The damn thing always makes me cry. Right at the end there when they meet unexpectedly in New York. She tells him that his girl is lovely and they hug. Right there.   This afternoon my doctor told me my EKG was a bit abnormal, but he didn't think I was having a heart attack. Good to know...   It's been an odd day.

i've recently been sitting down with HP Lovecraft and I am going to go insane. i love it   it is going to inspire me to put all my writing on hold and dedicate my mind to my own creation of old gods and their machinations under the sea.

Written in the time of disgust.

I probably shouldn't write the first entry in the time when I'm 'too tired to sleep', but well, when's the better time to join the community.   Eff the mosquito in my room.   I should do lots of stuff, which the thought of it disgusts me.   Should finish the untitled 'Hello, Insomnia' project. Should finish the untitled 'the cruelty of youth' poject. Should finish posting 'The Sick Puppy and the Angel' Should start thinking about the 'Insomnia. Acousma. Sex. Love. Friends. Suicidal Atte

Inspired Again Thanks to Dom Luka!

So I have started writing again! Isn't that awesome? I am working on a story. I've already finished a chapter, and another one is well under way. It is a modern fantasy story, and it is probably going to be part of a series. I feel as though I owe some of my inspiration to none other than Dom Luka, who is back again! So I figured if he can get back to writing, so can I! Thanks Dom! I love your stories and how you inspire the rest of us.

Don't Hate The Player, Hate The Game....

... and, oh, how I hate the game.   If I were six or seven, you might 'let' me win, and if I was ten, I'd take my proverbial ball and go home. Around thirteen, I'd try to revise the rules in my favor, and at sixteen, I'd hold you to every literal word of them and use them against you. At some point, you realize that if you don't get caught, sometimes it can work out in your favor to do things the way you want to as long as no one gets hurt.   The laws are made for the lesser of our society
