GA Authors have achieved posting 100 Million words in Stories!! Congratulations, Authors, on all your hard work to make GA a wonderful place for fellow authors and readers! To celebrate this event, we're going to run two contests. I'll post links to both, as they will be in the site Lounge forum, and that is where you can enter one or both contests.

 

Contest #1: One month FREE Premium membership

 

Contest #2: One $5 Amazon Gift Card

 

*Contest will run from the time the topics open until Saturday, December 20th, at 7 PM, Pacific time. The winners will be announced on the Weekly Wrap Up! site blog that goes live on Sunday. Winners will be chosen by drawing through Random.org*

 

FYI... as another awesome achievement, we've now had 100,000 reviews written on those stories!

Westie did it over in the Streak forum:

 

I just wanted to point out that Mark's total word count is (currently) 5,488,759 words. Which means that Mark's CAP and Bridgemont series - plus some anthology stuff - is responsible for 5.4% of the cumulative output of this site. That's some achievement.

Congrats to the site though for all the accomplishments and that goes to all our writers, their teams, the readers and reviewers who keep this crazy thing going. :)

You shouldn't ! Think of all the fun stories your prompts have sparked. Surely those account for quite a chunk of words too. :) (about 20,000 of mine)

Congratulations to all the authors who put their blood, sweat, and tears into each and every story. I tip my hat to you guys because it's a lot of hard work creating all the wonderful stories that are on GA.

 

I think GA is the best site for its authors, techs, site admins, and all the great people who contribute to it every day.

 

And let's hear it for all the reviewers who 'Like' and review these stories, giving the authors feedback on their work. I've written a few reviews here and there :D, but there are some amazing reviewers out there who write such insightful and thought-provoking reviews (no, not me - I wish!), and it adds to the whole reading and reviewing experience.

 

So congrats GA for having such wonderful authors, contributors, site admins, and extremely knowledgeable tech gurus. Here's to another 100 million words and 100,000 reviews!! :D
