Weekly Wrap Up (Mar. 16 - Mar. 22)

Oh Lordy, lordy! What day is it? When trying to put in the title of the Weekly Wrap Up it took me about 5 times until I looked at the calendar on the bottom right of my computer. :(

Yes, when most of North America and the rest of the world have flipped the calendar to March 23rd, I'm still stuck in the 22nd :P I guess the great thing that happened a few days ago was that Spring has sprung 🌈. In my neck of the woods that means that April and May snowstorms bring June flowers :gikkle:

So I opened up my pantry and pulled a bag of flour of the top shelf and noticed the streak in the dust that was left :o After my pancakes, I decided it was time to start some spring cleaning. Funny, you'd think after all these years of living, I'd figure if you did cleaning every day and week, you'd have no spring cleaning come every spring  Slow learner I guess :P

I was chatting with someone and they asked me what I did tonight? Back in the day, I imagine I would say things like went to a bar, went on a date, went to a movie, turned a trick or two :o, or something fun. But no, I did none of those things. I did my taxes:rofl: I'm of the age that I get excited to see if I get a refund or have to pay and I'm happy to say it is a refund. Once again, I couldn't claim any wages as an escort as my pimp, she takes 100% of my earnings. Also didn't know if the sexy undies that I buy can be claimed as a business expense. Any tax experts out there? :D

Now, I would be remiss once again, to not mention you have a little over 1 week to get in your Poetry Anthology with the theme of Diversity into the team. You can find out all the information HERE

Rather than ask a specific question this week, what do you want to discuss. I can't answer everything 0:) but make a statement of what you did and ask me any questions related :read:

Now onto the Wrap Up.

Monday, Cia brought us an all new Signature Author Feature! Go here to download a neat signature logo:

Tuesday, Myr went diving once again. Want to see what he came up with?

When we have a new Signature Author Feature on Monday the Excerpt is on Wednesday:

Then on Thursday, Val was up to some fun and games on the Anthology Blog:

Friday as always, was a new rendition of our Prompts:

That wraps up the blogs this week, but what about the Words of the Day? I only knew 1 of them, I thought I knew 3 :P. I'm getting worse :(

apocryphal, shillelagh, epicurean, ribald, aloof, scuttle, temerity

Throughout my life, I've been obsessed with music. Even have multiple tattoo's signifying my love of music.

Then when I turned forty, music started losing its appeal and I've drifted into History Podcast, YouTube video's, there is a ton of historical videos. The only time I listen to music is in the car when my husband is with me, because he listens to Bollywood soundtracks, so when he's with me I listen to bollywood soundtracks.

Otherwise, I am listening to podcasts nearly all the time, whether it's on my phone, or MacBook. I can not just do one thing, if I'm playing video games, one TV has the game and the other screen I am watching a movie, usually something I've seen before. When I'm writing, I'm usually listening to HardCore History, the best indepth historical pod cast ever. The host picks a topic and then does a deep dive, his world war II is something like seven parts, maybe twenty-four hours long, it's amazing.

So my phone, or my tablet, is what I listen to podcasts on.

Gasp! You’re still using the iPhone 4? 🤯 I still have an iPod classic which uses that connection, and I have the connection cord and charging puck — not that I actually use the thing. My understanding is that it’s a collectible nowadays. My sister has my old and donated iPhone 4s hidden in a closet somewhere, in the dark where it belongs. 😉

I can go older. Still have one of the early Macintoshes. Bought it before I graduated from college to print my resume all fancy. Dot matrix imagewriter printer too.

Did you get a job from those resumes that you printed on a dot-matrix printer?  :gikkle:  😲
