Do you use Tumblr? If so, what kinds of things do you follow/repost/original post?

I don't have a tumblr account but I know what it is and I have visited a few sites. Usually, I visit because the person who has one is interesting or it is linked by someone I like.

I have a tumblr account... somewhere. When I hear or read something interesting or know someone who has an account I visit and sometimes get stuck jumping from one blog to the next.

I have an account, but it's too limiting to my writing....  I write too much to fit into that little box....  I think it's intended to be a micro blog site.

Like a lot of things, it helps keep me from ossifying.

I love tumblr!!

Besides porn, I also follow a lot of blogs about my favourite tv shows, movies, music artists, animals etc.

My dash is mostly filled with Doctor Who and Sherlock (but not currently with Sherlock cause of spoilers)

I follow about 400 blogs and have 135 followers on my blog, so there's a lot of variety in what I reblog and post.

Most of my original posts are about Sherlock (my weiro).

I'm much like Bumblebee. I reblog a bit of porn, a lot of fandom and then just whatever strikes my fancy, such as cute animals, the odd political post, a lot of pro-LGBT stuff, things related to writing, music and very occasionally fashion. Sometimes I post content in the form of text posts, the occasional longer proper blog post, links to articles or youtube videos, and links to my own stories when I post them. Lately I've been trying to use my Tumblr as a platform to talk up GA a bit, always posting links to my stories on here rather than elsewhere.

Problem is, Tumblr's like the ocean for a person who only has a little bit of time for a dip in the pool. But the vastness is so inviting, you want to keep checking out sites. Especially since any given tumblr site will invariably link to a gazillion others...

 

There's too much there. There's even too much good porn there. And it can use up a free half hour you had in the blink of a crazed eye.

 

I don't go there much anymore. But I do go there.

Better that I'm honest about it rather than be that creepy guy whose spouse gets a rude awakening when they least expect it. My hubby knows what a perv I am and loves me anyway.

As long as it's not my naked ass on the screen, I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. We are talking about the man who has bought me porn for Christmas in the past because I asked for it.

That's not too bad. Let's just say I hit my 250 a day re-post limit daily. Been on there over a year and am just shy of 50,000 posts. I do however have over 50,000 likes of photos.

Yes and I know a few other tumblrs that do too. On the weekend I typically hit it in about 2 hours or less. Today I spread it out so I didn't happen that quickly.

I love Tumblr. It's fun to see what others like sometimes. Oh, and it can be a little pervy, which is nice too.
