Hello, Ken, and welcome to GA. You don't need to go outside to be a member of this community. All you need is a desire to interact. Cheers! Gary 5
Suddaby Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Hi, Finally joined as one of my favourite authors Robert Hugill has suddenly disappeared behind "Mature Content". What I am wondering is, can I identify other stories that are classed as "mature content", as I know I have passed over some stories in the past because of this??? Cheers, Kevin 1 3

As a fellow fan of Robert H it’s good to see you here! The rules about sexual content are quite clear. You can see all the labels in the description page/ table of contents. Just because a story has “mature content” doesn’t mean it’s necessarily going to be full of sexual content. Looking forward to seeing your comments on Robert’s stories. regards Gary 2

Cheers, Kevin I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong, and I'm usually wrong about most things. I think, to access Mature content, you have to be a member. Then as Ron said, look at the story ratings, the tags that will tell you content warnings, such as sex, so on and so on. Some stories have no sex at all but are labeled Mature due to language or suggestive language. I hate the content warnings as you can't surprise the reader, that being said, it also helps readers avoid topics or situations they might not enjoy. So with each story, pay attention to those little tags, very helpful if you want to avoid certain things. And welcome. Edited October 14 by Jason Rimbaud Not Ron, but Gary, opps 2 2

The amount of times I've come across main character deaths, gore, and less than consensual scenes... still don't regret reading, though. 1 1

If I'm to be honest, I the only thing I look for is whether or not the rating is mature. I never look at anything else. I'd rather discover the story without any knowledge of what's in store. And I'm the weirdo that actually only reads stories with Mature ratings. It's a sickness. J 4
Inkognito Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Clears throat in shameless audacity Trips over own entrance but recovers with flair Hi. Name’s Inkognito. I’m not new, exactly. More like gently used, emotionally discontinued, and possibly haunted. Yes, it’s been five months. And yes, I’ve already posted enough unhinged content to qualify for observation by at least three writing committees and one mildly concerned exorcist. But I kept seeing those cheerful little “Hi, welcome!” comments on the front page that read like AA meeting introductions and thought, “Damn, I want in on that.” So here I am. Finally defiling this digital relic with my presence. For the historical record, of course. And to ensure that when future digital archaeologists unearth this site, they discover that the cursed gay time capsule energy they felt was entirely intentional. And that I regret nothing. 4
