When in doubt, the site mods and admins don't bite (unless provoked 🤣).

The slow-burn fic is a little combination of everything, each chapter is a stand-alone one, but it’s mostly a romance!  My original works are fantasy, horror, and romance.

 

The game I mostly write for is Arknights, so if anyone here is familiar I’d love to chat!  For anyone who isn’t, it’s a fun tower-defense game with a heavy emphasis on the plot!

Most you can enjoy in a binge-reading session, so get yourself comfortable and keep your favourite snacks and drinks within reach, others you can enjoy as they are being posted. Don't forget to leave reactions, comments, recommendations and reviews, we authors appreciate them on all of our stories, past and present, and will respond. Leaving comments and reviews is a great way to get yourself known and make connections, as is getting involved in the blogs and forums.

This is a bit of info to help you enjoy GA more. You can follow a member by clicking on the 'follow member' button on their profile page; you can follow an author by clicking the button on their author profile. Likewise, you can do this on stories, blogs and forums that interest you. By following members, authors, stories, blogs and forums, you can keep up to date on what is going on much easier but don't forget to check for new content that is always being posted.

To @Rowdy Reader and all the other new members of GA: no matter who you are or your reason for joining Gay Authors, I believe you'll be glad that you took this step.  Gay Authors is more like a family, than just a place to read stories, and you'll find that you'll be welcome here.  Besides reading a lot of great stories, the are many other opportunities here, like responding to comments in the Forum or even adding your own.  Don't be fearful, because you won't find anyone laughing or being critical of what you have to say.  Many will give positive responses to any topic that you may want to ask about, except political questions/comments can only be made in the "Pit", not in the Forums, such as "The Lounge".  I, and many others, hope you become a very active member here. 

PS: When reading stories, don't be afraid to leave a comment or click on an emoji to let the author know what you thought about the chapter or story that you read.  You'll find that the comments will be greatly appreciated and you might even get a comment or an emoji in return.  Good reading and enjoy your time here.

Long time reader, first time member.  Just wanted to say hi!  

A year ago, at 41, I finally found the courage to come out (in this context, courage is actually defined as desperation).  So, I’m out, albeit somewhat quietly.  It has been a big year for me; I’ve begun to resolve several identity conflicts and integrate the hidden and repressed pieces I have found along the way.

This site, and others, have played a massive role in my exploration and understanding of who I am and want to be (special shout out to @Bensiamin - David and Jackson likely saved my life, although I met them elsewhere on the internet).

My wife and I are trying to make our mixed orientation marriage work (20 years last May).  It was always mixed, but now it is also honest.  We have a son who just started high school.

I’ll wrap this up before I have to tag it as a novel, but I look forward to sharing more through some writing soon.  

It feels good to say hi, even if I’m still hiding behind a screen name!  Much love!

Thanks Bill!  It is kind of surreal talking to you.  I spent so many evenings in the Castaway Hotel (both generations) several years ago.  As you say, I’ve been here, but not fully as myself.  Thank you for reaching out, both now and through your shared words in the past!
