Welcome to GA, Triapze! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of us here :)

What genre is your slow-burn fanfic in? And in which will be your original works in?

Care to share the name of the game? Maybe, others in this thread also played said game or would if someone recommended it to them.

Hey all,

Long time reader, first time member.  Just wanted to say hi!  :)

A year ago, at 41, I finally found the courage to come out (in this context, courage is actually defined as desperation).  So, I’m out, albeit somewhat quietly.  It has been a big year for me; I’ve begun to resolve several identity conflicts and integrate the hidden and repressed pieces I have found along the way.

This site, and others, have played a massive role in my exploration and understanding of who I am and want to be (special shout out to @Bensiamin - David and Jackson likely saved my life, although I met them elsewhere on the internet).

My wife and I are trying to make our mixed orientation marriage work (20 years last May).  It was always mixed, but now it is also honest.  We have a son who just started high school.

I’ll wrap this up before I have to tag it as a novel, but I look forward to sharing more through some writing soon.

It feels good to say hi, even if I’m still hiding behind a screen name!  Much love!

Welcome to GA @empath, I'm glad you have taken that step to join us. You will find we are a friendly, welcoming bunch; sometimes we're a bit crazy, but we're still friendly. We will all look forward to reading your comments on the stories you like and choose to read, and look forward to the stories that you post. I've said this before and'll say it again: there are no strangers here, just friends you have yet to meet.

And now you'll be able to comment on chapters and stories that you read, as well as to be able to click on the emojis to let the authors know what you think of their work.  I'd say welcome, but you've been here for some time now, so instead I'll say congratulations for taking the next step and becoming an active member.

There is neither a deadline nor an expiry date for self discovery (or rediscovery). You were welcome here as a reader and you are welcome now as an official member.
