Welcome to the forums, Andy (@Afri) ! You're with good people. Not so much me, I'm a dweeb trying to finish a vampire story. But the rest of the forum is full of fantastic story gems. You will laugh, you will feel outrage for the characters you connect with...and if you ever feel any eye allergens or dust specks flying into your eyes while reading something sad, I'm probably right there with you.

Hello!

I am new to this site, although I've lurked around without an account for a while. I'm excited to be surrounded by authors and readers alike! I don't write a lot, but I am hoping to change that. I primarily like writing sweet yet serious stories, but sometimes I like to dabble into something darker and more messy.

My interests are video games, books (although I don't read as much lately), art and in general learning new things!

I am excited to hopefully meet a lot of wonderful people here!

Oh nice!  Well welcome to GA, and brace yourself, there's a whole horde of welcomes following me. Also if it makes you feel any better, I created my account in like 2006 and only started posting my stuff a couple of years ago so yeah... it took me 20 years.  I dig dark and messy so can't wait to see what you come up with.

Welcome to the forum! I'm learning the art of writing myself. So far, I'm prolific-ish and lean to fantasy, according to what I've been told. Completed, edited/polished stories are encouraged. Whenever you do start posting, I advise you think well about the genre and tags/descriptors that match the story. Beware tossing a sci-fi into a historical or a horror into a comedy. 😂

Oooh, thank you for the tips! I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one learning how to write properly here! I will keep your words in mind. Thank you for the welcome!

Welcome, @PhilipJacobs!  There's enough stories here to keep you reading for a couple of years, if you stop eating and don't sleep, or probably more if you don't give those up.  @Myr and @Cia will be happy to hear that you're offering to help, and once you've been here for a while, I'm sure they can keep you very busy.

Hello,my name is Ken.l live in southeast Florida.lm retired on disability now.l used to draw and paint.l.did illustrations for the one book l did get published a couple of years ago though l haven't done any art in quite awhile.l still write to pass the time, mainly attempts at a sexual dealing with the brother of the heroine of the first book , a cop in the early 80's in the Bronx.He faced a vampire unleashed in the first book, finding himself newly cursed as a werewolf.
