I prefer to write when no one else is around. I find it easier to concentrate.  I have a habit of getting hyperfocused on what I'm doing when it comes to reading or writing. When I'm in the zone, the walls could come crashing down and I'd be oblivious. Plus... no one in my real world knows what I write. I prefer to keep it that way.

I am sure you know what you are doing...

It's a shame some people don't know this and never learn it. Too many people never grow up.

Good grief!  242 brush fires in the state in the last 2 weeks !  Helped evac one farm in the path of the newest one yesterday, and am now on standby for 2 other farms, one likely to need it if the wind picks up and one that should be fine but wanted an evac plan in place just in case.

Wow, stay safe x

Dare I mention climate change? Weather disasters are increasing worldwide. My retirement dreams of spending winters in Florida, like my parents, grandparents, and brother enjoyed, are now a scary thought. 🤔 I had changed my thinking to possibly moving to the Carolina's, scratch that also. A recent realtor's survey declared my Ohio city this safest city in the USA from weather disasters. Our winters have been very mild for the last decade, but that too could change quickly by mother nature. I wish safety for all and decided to just stay put.

It's in the 80s here.  Feels like summer, easy to forget we're in November.  It's wild.

My northeast Ohio city has not yet experienced a frost. I am still picking cherry tomatoes, and my tropical, annual, and perennial plants are still blooming well. We had a wet spring and a dry fall with Tuesday being a record high also. Southern Ohio has been getting more weather problems from the jet streams than us, for the last few years. Wild and unusual here also.

We've had one frost a few weeks ago that killed most of my plants.  But since then it's been wildly swinging between cold and hot.

It’s been the same in my area. It’s been so warm, people are wearing shorts and T’s.
