I struggle to write letters with others in the room, so writing a story is out of the question with others around me.

My mom invited me to write while I was in the kitchen one day.  I tried to  take her up on this offer and then she talked to me for the next 30 minutes until I just gave up.

I prefer to write when no one else is around. I find it easier to concentrate.  I have a habit of getting hyperfocused on what I'm doing when it comes to reading or writing. When I'm in the zone, the walls could come crashing down and I'd be oblivious. Plus... no one in my real world knows what I write. I prefer to keep it that way.
