Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted June 11, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 11, 2020 Well ... I'm gonna have that second glass of wine after all. Our water heater gave up in dramatic fashion. Like ... bottom failed, and water gushed out. And it was behind a screwed in panel. So there's me ... desperately trying to unscrew this thing while the sound of water running out of a metal cylinder is hidden where I can't see it behind a freaking piece of plywood. Then there's Kevin. Standing nearby, looking vaguely concerned. Kevin: That doesn't sound good. Wayne: No! No it doesn't! *finally gets last screw undone and pulls off the panel, immediately turns off the water line and the gas* *I squat down to look at the bottom of the leaking heater* Kevin: Do you know what you're doing? Wayne: I know we shouldn't let the house flood! *perhaps just a bit more bite in my tone than I intended* Kevin: *taps foot. Then walks to the kitchen. I hear the wine bottle as he pours another glass* Wayne: *grumbling* Oh, thank god. They might have screwed the heater away where we couldn't reach it, but at least they put in a drain. The water went under the house, not on the floor." *Crisis sorta handled, I walked into the kitchen. Kevin eyes me, and hands over the glass of wine* So ... yeah. I'm gonna drink my wine. And maybe eat that ice-cream too. 2 4 6

And good night. @MichaelS36 If it is a dislodged crystal you might want to try the Epley maneuver. It can be done at home. YouTube has several videos that shows it step by step. It works pretty well. I had to do it twice when I had some crazy vertigo going on every time I laid down. Good luck! 6

Asked the boss, an electrical engineer who went back to school and obtained a teaching degree, when was the last time those two things were done? His answer: "Whats a sacrificial annode?" 8 hours ago, MacGreg said: Dizzy? That sucks. It could be a dislodged crystal in your inner ear. Hopefully, it gets figured out for you. Good luck, Mike. And good night. Could be something as simple as a B vitamine deficiency. B's are water soluble, so it becomes easy to flish out more than you take in, especially in hot weather. 6

We don't have water heaters in the apartment so, not our problem .. yay. He has been to the doctor before about it. I will mention this to Michael in case He doesn't see this. Thanks for the suggestion. 7
