Thanks, tim. My back was bugging me again today, so an early bedtime is probably a good idea.

Your positive outlook is refreshing, especially now. I'm not sure there's one specific thing that I want most of all. I spent over 20 years working in travel thinking I was going to see the world. I saw some of it, but there's a whole lot more I'd like to see. So I'd pick that first if it's something for just me.

I'm not one who wants for things. I want to be happy and I want my kids to be happy and not make the kind of mistakes I did. When they do (and they will) I hope they learn from it.

4 inches since the start of the month, over by about 3 inches normally. That's here in Tampa. But those four inches had South Tampa flooded like normal.

Absolutely beautiful here, Cool and clear, watched the sunrise with my magic bean juice.  Now planning to do my morning paperwork and be done before hubby even wakes.

i’m getting ready to work. even though i work from home i treat the day like going into the office. this structure helps me with this “new normal” so enjoy your magic bean juice.

It is a good morning!

Today started with a call from my brother telling me that my niece had her baby last night...a healthy little girl!  I also found out last night my college boy got a job, so I  don't have to worry about trying to fund two households this summer!

So yep....already a good day and it's still early!

SP and I both woke up an hour early this morning.

Depending on where you are in the state today the wind will gust from 70mph to 50mph as a cold front moves in. By mid afternoon we could have a wind-chill of 37F in the Panhandle and a heat index of 103F on the Eastern side; weather man was joking about "using all the colors" on the weather map for today.

morning all. up at 7, had a bagel with peanut butter & i'll start work when i get back from picking up Number One Son from work. our weather will be hot, but maybe not so humid today

gotta love the weather ...  ours is hot ... if we get too hot we'll put the AC on.

Cool and breezy so far for me, but then again, that was when I was out at 8 a.m. I predict, it’s going to get warmer as the day goes by. 

Edit: Heat alert says 30 to 34C (86 to 93F) for today. I suppose that is hot for early June, but I’m not sure I’d call it worthy of a heat alert. 🤔
