I was pleasantly surprised today.  After Sunday's water bucket issue and a bunch of other stuff, I decided to resign from teaching at the barn. Put word out to a few friends today I was interested in a position at another farm, and got calls from 2 places that want to sit down to talk with me, and neither is the place I am looking to move my horses to!

It's nice to be wanted!!  Good luck!

That is because if you leave two unfinished pieces of paperwork, or worse yet two unanswered emails, alone for more than 30 seconds at a time, they multiply like horny little bunnies!

Ever notice if you actually hit the bottom of the days work pile early, and you are killing time for punch out, not a single email or phone call will come in till 5 min to quitting time and that one will need at least 20 min to fix?

I hope you are doing okay. It's been a struggle. Worry about this virus, about family, jobs. It takes a toll. tim didn't have to worry about his job, but still, the possibility of getting this thing was real and frightening. Now on top of that is the unrest happening in the world for other reasons, valid as they are. It's non stop. I hope you can take some time to recharge if you can. 

There is always this place as well. A place people will listen and sit with you.  

This goes for all of you denizens of the DiC.

I'd love to hide away inside, but alas, life gets in the way. I have chauffeur duties for my son tonight. Looking forward to him getting his license. Scared to death to let him out on the road!

The truth of it is, when I joined GA, I told tim not to describe me correctly. I had little trust and I was still a police officer. The truth is I am 6' 11" not 6" 5".  So, just a little bit tall.
