Like a sensory deprivation tank?  That's a big nope for me.  I'm claustrophobic, so can't stand the idea of being shut in somewhere, especially with water.  I like the idea of darkness and silence, though.

Ugh heatwave 🥵 38°C in the shade! Dad has just left to spend the weekend at his mom's. Just the idea to spend 2 hours in the car in this heat despite the AC was a no for me. I'm lying on my bed with Looping by my side, the fan blowing nicely on us. He looks like he's in heaven, a small smile on his lips and eyes half closed 

 

On the bright side I've picked 3 tomatoes and my first ever cucumber. It has a nice length and is perfectly tick but unlike those in shops it has spiky hairs.

A quarter of the frontpage of today's local paper was an article announcing the opening of this season's faire. We are gathering at the shop Sunday to clean and prep. This would have been my 17th year working in the shop. I started attending 10 years before that. It will be very strange not being there.

We had breakfast burritos. Bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and salsa on flour tortillas.

I had ham, bacon, cheese, and cauliflower soup.  I was out of broccoli, so had to use cauliflower 'pearls'.  It was just as tasty.
