Sorry weirdos who think eating spiders is okay, even Page's pride and joy won't do it, he's like the most adventurous food-trying kid ever. I think they hand an award out for that somewhere and he like totally won it... 7

How to Cook Tarantula Spiders Properly prepared tarantulas make one of the most delicious and texturally satisfying entrées and are on a par with another tasty delight, the lobster. You might think this is a typical recipe hyperbole... until you read what "The Bug Chef" has to say about batter-fried tarantulas: I gave up fried creepy crawlies a few years back. It takes forever to chew their exoskeletons. They also give me a kind of acid reflux condition within seconds of eating. 🤮 Thanks anyway. 😬 Edited May 29, 2022 by raven1 6

raven1 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Howdy Spike! You definitely held your own against our resident crazies. Do you need some anti-acid tablets? You should definitely try living in a different country for a few weeks before deciding to move there. I tried Belize, Costa Rica and Indonesia for a couple of long vacations before finding Thailand. Costa Rica was a very close second. My plan was to stay here for a year. 2 3
Popular Post raven1 Posted May 29, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 29, 2022 Howdy Drewdy! I though you might like to know: If the concept of a 100-foot-tall tarantula barreling through the countryside sounds frightening, that's because it is. While the 1950s wasn't the best decade for a movie based on such a premise, it did succeed with Tarantula, another horror film about a normal creature that mutates to a massive size due to exposure to nuclear material. 1 5 1

I spent a week in the Philippines back in the late 2000s. I actually really enjoyed it, and wanted to go back for more but never have got back down there. I could see Thailand being somewhat similar and I'd bet I'd enjoy that as well. 6
