Mum and I just finished a late dinner. Shrimp oreganotta with crusty ciabatta and a salad of mixed spring greens followed by homemade Christmas cookies and a bit of bourbon pecan turtle fudge.

I'll wish y'all a Happy New Year now as I don't plan on staying up until midnight. I've got an achy head. I'll likely know when the year turns though as there are a number of folks here about that like to shoot off their guns and backyard fireworks.

Apparently they are already setting some fireworks off around here.  It's pretty far out, but the sound of them reminds me of the cats when they puke, so I tore around the house a little bit before I figured it out.

6.30am and I'm currently having breakfast after coming home from a party at a friend's amd before going to catch some zzs  

The party was nice. I was introduced to "the perfect man for [me]": Sebastien a 30 years-old butcher  Actually he's not bad at all. Tall but not too tall, shaved head, perfect beard, glasses and small laughing eyes, shy but with a sharp and dry sens of humor. Obviously we played a game of spine the bottle and my friend Sarah asked him some obvious questions about his preferences like about his opinion on boobs size while looking at mine (and so I know he only had sex with 3 people so good point for him)  

But your girl managed to get his number before leaving he only have Sarah's boyfriend's number (who was sleeping) and the girls were adamant he'd send a text to say he had made it home safe. Of course no one but me had their phone available at the moment so I handed him mine. Smooooth 

Who know what this new year will bring
