I have a problem with croissants  

The are too good by themselves.

Then people have the audacity to make them better by adding chocolate.

Or, the real sadists make mini croissants, which makes your mind say weill if I maybe have 2, it is the same as 1, or maybe 3 equals 1, what the heck, 4 only equals 1 1/2 full croissants

Well, here we are at the end of January already getting ready to move into February.

January 31st honors everything backward with National Backward Day. The day provides an opportunity to reverse our ways, our direction or simply our shirt.  Dessert for breakfast, perhaps? There are many ways to celebrate this fun day, so just let your imagination be your guide.

Todays treat is Hot Chocolate.

And back to me once again. At least I'm feeling better now dealing with Bronchitis.

Around here it's going to be too windy to Play Outside for very long. 

Texas will supply the Dark Chocolate for the day. 

They will also prepare thick waffles with chocolate syrup, a large dollop of whipped cream, and a big scoop of Ice cream for breakfast.

It's a short list on this National Groundhog Day. No matter if the rodent sees its shadow or not, we'll still have six weeks of Winter to go thru.

I don't remember seeing this on in the past, Four Chaplains Day. On February 3rd each year, Four Chaplains Day honors four military chaplains from World War II who sacrificed their lives for fellow service members. 

It's National Missing Persons Day. And National Women Physicians Day. 

Today is also known as The Day The Music Died. 

In case you're interested, it's also Carrot Cake Day.

With today's high expected to be in the 40's today, a nice hot bowl of Homemade Soup may not be the best.

Just when I thought I could get back to my morning walk tomorrow after my bout with Bronchitis, we've got some nasty weather coming in overnight.

For the Ladies, we've got National Girls and Womens Sports Day. 

It's everyone's favorite day today, Shower With A Friend Day. 

With the nasty weather coming this way, why would I want to celebrate National Weatherpersons Day?
