You know, I've led a bit of an interesting life, and I've had Christmases in manly locations, including one of the most stereotypical assbackwards towns that was like taking a time machine to the early 20th century, and never once was there a town baking competition.

There was a town Christmas parade, but not even a mention of a baking competition.

But with a fake tree you can leave it up for longer... till like April, when you get around to pulling all the ornaments off.
