Went to the ER with a possible bowel obstruction. Oh joy.

My abdomen is feeling hard; haven't had a decent bowel movement since 2:30 pm, and on a scale of 1 - 10, the pain is currently at a 7.

Update: got admitted to the ER. Got a room at 10:30. Doctors drew some blood for lab work. Also added an IV for contrast dye to do a CT scan, so they can determine if there's a blockage. Just waiting my turn to use the CT sanner.

The CT scan was surprisingly quick. There was a line of patients ahead of me, apparently, and that's why I was waiting so long. Just waiting to hear back from the doctor with a diagnosis.
