Wow, that was another twist. I wasn't expecting the sister to be raised by family. Jason now has an aunt and a twin that he's never met; he never even knew he had an aunt! And the aunt wants nothing to do with her brother and her sister-in-law. Shocker. lol I'm sure Jessa is being raised much better than Jason is, and certainly better than poor sweet Sadie. I'm looking forward to their meeting. He needs to learn ASL.

Yeah, the twin angle shocked me too! So when Jason said, "Not a sister. A twin.", he really meant not JUST a sister, but a twin. As dr said, twins have an unmistakable bond. I wonder, since he now knows this, if there were any time in his life where he felt something was missing. I know that growing up together twins can sense when the other is in pain (they can even feel the pain of their twin), they can finish each other's sentences, and probably lots more I don't know about. I wonder if Jason ever felt something he couldn't recognize that he didn't know where it came from. Does that even make sense? I wonder if Jessa (pretty name, btw ) felt something when Jason was attacked. Now, on to the parents and grandmother: I cannot believe the parents would just put their baby up for adoption b/c she was deaf. How ridiculous is that? Just b/c she's not perfect in their eyes? What pretentious asshats. What the hell kind of mother is their mother? How could a mother do something like that? You love your baby NO MATTER WHAT. And GRANDMA, what the hell? She kept in contact with her granddaughter and/or her adoptive parents this whole time? And never said one word to Jason about her. I bet she was not happy they gave the baby up for adoption. I bet they made her swear she would never say a word to her grandson about his twin sister. Or...maybe she was all for it. Terrific chapter, Krista! And btw: Sadie stole every scene! lol

Week One Wednesday, September 3, 2014: The First Day of School
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week One Wednesday, September 3, 2014: The First Day of School
Did I tell you this is quickly becoming one of my top three favorite stories so far? I get so excited when I see a new chapter posted I squeal like the fangirl I am. lol David (NOT Davy, NOT Dave! lol) is sending out so many mixed signals to poor Twoey it's making his head spin! David's a dick, then he's nice, then he's a dick again, and so on. lol Terrific chapter SkinnyD! Can't wait for the next one!!! (that's what I'll be doing when you post chapter four! lol) -
I did hit the 'Like' button, but I really didn't like this chapter - only b/c Wyatt's been kidnapped and chained somewhere (was sweet Simon the Butler in on this???????), and Bryan thinks Wyatt just needs time to himself b/c Mommy Dearest totally lied to him about his whereabouts. I know a lot of your readers suspect Darrin, but I don't know...why would MD (Mommy Dearest) go to the trouble of sticking something in Wyatt's drink, only to stick him in a cab later? That part didn't make sense to me. Either way, Bryan's going to be a mess when Wyatt never shows up or contacts him. MD is going to continue to lie through her teeth, giving Bryan wrong information, and Bryan's going to think Wyatt just took off. Unless he tracks Darrin down b/c he thinks he had something to do with Wyatt's disappearance. Poor Bryan. Poor Wyatt. Damn, this is a good story! lol

I must tell you Mom, I had anxiety throughout this chapter. A red flag went up when Mommy Dearest practically ran in the kitchen to refill the "lemonade". Poison lemonade no doubt. I was actually waiting for the line when Wyatt wasn't feeling well. What a BITCH!!!! Ok, now I need to review the next chapter (read them both late last night on my phone. lol).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAZ!!!!! I hope you have a terrific b-day!

When my beloved pit bull died three years ago from lymphoma, I was heartbroken. She was only three-and-a-half. I thought about her every single day and cried for her for at least a year and a half. CG, you will think about her all the time, and cry remembering her, but that's ok. It's how you grieve. In time, the pain will lessen, and you will always have your happy memories.
-
Omg, don't DO that to me! Shit. I was sitting at the edge of my chair through the whole chapter. Excellent details - as Reader said, it was like I was right there in the room with Mike, seeing what he saw and hearing what he heard. The dream was very chilling. I'm so glad Nick didn't go through with it. I loved how it ended with him seeing the tree chain full of life and love. Terrific job, Theone. Or is is Theo?

I am so, so sorry CG. I know what it's like to lose pets, it's sometimes harder than losing family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Week One Tuesday September 2, 2014: Twoey
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week One Tuesday September 2, 2014: Twoey
Ha! I was just going to say the same thing as Coastguard! Your writing is similar to Comsie's. I loved this chapter! I liked reading the two (ha! two! Ok, lame, sorry), different POVs. Loved how the nickname Twoey came about. Hate his father and Mike though. I can't believe his best friend, practically brother, would just abandon him like that. What a shit. And mailing back the other half of the dollar - it's just like Twoey said: worse than ignoring him. Like their friendship meant nothing to him. Ass. I'm looking forward to chapter three! Great job, David!! -
And the same story with my Unhusband. Left me there all alone with our three kids. He was my best friend. Now I hate him. You write so beautifully, Rich, and your emotions are so strong. Reading this got me all choked up. I'm so sorry you have an Unboyfriend. I know what it's like to not want to let go, but you have to. You'll never find anyone else unless you let him go. In your next blog entry I want to hear about your new Onboyfriend.

Week One Monday September 1, 2014: Labor Day
Lisa commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week One Monday September 1, 2014: Labor Day
'So that was Labor Day for David: about as plain and boring as I am.' David is far from boring - IMO. What a terrific first chapter, David!! I agree with Coastguard; it's well written and it sounds like it's going to be fun to read. The chapter itself was pretty funny - especially the Author's Note at the beginning. I'm so confused; I don't know if the story is true or not. lol Looking forward to the second chapter. -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!!!! I hope you had a great b-day!

That's not the last of Darrin they're going to see. Unfortunately. I also think Wyatt should get a restraining order against him. He's going to keep provoking Bryan until he gets what he wants - pressing charges for assault and sending Bryan to jail. I also agree with your other readers; I'm not sure I totally trust Carol. It just seems so easy, too easy, that she changed her tune so quickly about Bryan being gay.

Hey! You're the second person who has been on here who lives in my state! Wonder if there's more...

Chapter 1 THE JOCK MEETS THE NERD
Lisa commented on Tallguyct's story chapter in Chapter 1 THE JOCK MEETS THE NERD
I haven't read the whole chapter yet, but this sounds so familiar. Did you post it on another site a few years back? And Tall guy, what does CT stand for? Just being nosy. lol -
Oh! And Adam Lambert has a new CD out. I TOTALLY didn't recognize him w/o all his makeup. lol I like your pic better.
-
Cassie, I'm soooo sorry to hear about your grandma. Why do they have to remove half her face? Sorry, that's probably too personal, but so sad. Seems like you have your hands full at work also. Sorry about your guinea pig. We've definitely missed you here and missed your input. I'm sending you lots of cyber hugs and chocolate (hopefully you like chocolate!).

Chapter 1 Letter to Caitlyn Jenner
Lisa commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 Letter to Caitlyn Jenner
'Be kind to your fellow man.' (and woman) Gary - that letter was so heartfelt it brought tears to my eyes. I think there are so many people who just take for granted their sexuality and gender, never realizing people of all ages, young kids, teenagers, young adults, etc., can be suffering every day because of this. I think you should try to send it to Caitlyn. What could it hurt? I think she'd be so pleased to get such a positive, supportive letter. -
I'm glad that you're feeling better, Lenny! I bet you can't wait to go home!
-
Cia, how about the plural for roof and hoof? One site says roof would be roofs, rooves (which is the term I learned), isn't used anymore. In fact, my spell check is underlining rooves. But hoofs AND hooves are correct for hoof. Why the difference?
-
YAY, RILEY!!!! I just saw the new update was posted!!! I'm so excited to read it!
-
Thank you, M, for letting us know. I hope Lenny is all right, and I wish him a speedy recovery.

It must be so cool to grow up on a plantation that is so historic there are guided tours and weddings and other events going on. I'm so glad Bryan's mom seems pretty cool with her son marrying Wyatt. I hope her enthusiasm is genuine, otherwise it's going to really hurt Bryan and bring Wyatt's self-esteem down even further. Great chapter, Mom!
