If Robbie doesn't do something intelligent to counter the homophobia of Don and Sue very soon, they may be facing a bunch of your readers with torches and pitchforks in the near future. How can they be so ignorant and cruel, especially Don. Robbie needs some adults who are on his side and understands what being a gay teen really means. I'm getting very frustrated with his lack of action to counter their nasty digs in useful ways. Get ready for ranting. Why didn't Robbie tell Alex, who is clever and manipulative and would love to antagonize Sue in revenge for her overprotective manner. Why doesn't Robbie get in touch with the guy who prevented him form running away or with the organization whose number he got ? Why doesn't he tell Nathan's parents who have dealt with similar attitudes? Well, we know why, it's because Nathan is incapable of having a serious conversation or think of anything but sex and flirting. He needs to grow up, before he'll be a good partner for Robbie. Why doesn't Robbie ask the advise of Nicole, who is a calculating bitch but loves to take on a protective big sister role. If all else fails, Robbie should tell Mr.Andrews he has problems at home because his adoptive parents are bigots who erode his mental stability with nasty suggestions hidden in pretense caring. He can say he would like some impartial advice on how to deal with it, because it would probably also be useful when dealing with school bullying hidden as jokes.

I'm glad the outing with Nathan and the trip with friends are over with no major problems or disasters.

I guess this was the bar, nightclub and party chapter. I'm glad Mason is show to be intelligent and sensible about the people he's meeting, gay and straight. He may lust a bit after Liam but he knows it's better to keep the relationship to friends only. We know they will never share, or at least not while they're still so new as a couple. Mason doesn't know it yet, but he has already found some guys who can be the friends he's looking for. Kevin and Daphne will make sure he meets Deon, who will introduce him to Sam and Markus, or else Neil may do so. Mason may not find another Robbie or a boyfriend, but perhaps that's for the best, if he wants to go home four years from now. I'm wondering about Ben sensing Ross and Warwick having issues, but I hope it's simply due to them still trying to rebuild after the not-to-be mentioned disaster. Ross seemed quite definite about Warwick being his boyfriend and happy to send Ben off together with Mitchell. I hope Ben is honest with him once they are alone, and Mitchell seemed nice and calm. It was good to see the brat, Jim and Tony, and thankfully no Alex. I hope Daphne will be in a situation soon where she can tell Carissa, Deon, Liam and Neil. The sooner they know the better, because we can see the strain on Kevin and her. The little interlude before they went into the bar was a clever way of showing that, and it was also interesting to see Kevin trying to keep a low profile. As well as funny to see Mason's reactions to Kevin's behavior, when we know the reasons why.

Yes, @Mark Arbour I still have nightmares about trying to keep track of Will's sex life. I'm so grateful you didn't ask about Matt. I promise to update the topic soon, if you post more Black Widow chapters. I use both Word and Excell to keep track of my characters. And of course I have to go back and read older chapters because I update so slowly. Good job, Carlos - and I didn't even have to grumble about the formatting.

LOL, I can't really say it came as a surprise that the two best friends were in love with each other but refused to admit it. Carter should make a decision to stay in Alex' body and be the hubby Aron deserves. I doubt Alex will let Aron go even if Carter came back to himself and confessed his undying love for Aron. The big decision is whether to tell Aron the truth. It might make a lot of things easier, including telling him Alex was cheating on him.

Chuck's strategy to tell Lee how he felt was even more disastrous than what Lee eventually did. He can't really complain about being hurt by Lee's lack of telling and his method of coming out, when he didn't have the courage to be honest himself. Of course, Lee did start the whole secrecy thing, so he can't complain either. Like my Swedish friend I also recommend less alcohol - and more balls.

The mob must have been unusually dense to yell at gay guys outside the shop with a gay baker whose boyfriend is a gay policeman. Unless they're both in the closet ?

I liked the fact they could look beyond the age difference and focus on getting to know each other. Drew was very deft in showing how he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and in paying a subtle but unmistakable compliment to Terry's mother. They will be a great couple.

I'm hoping Alex's tendency to take in strays will extend to being a life line for Josh when he decides to leave home. I can't really see him as a forestry worker, so I hope he has other skills to explore in college. Of course, he may not get financial support for education if he decides to reject the bigoted suppression of his father and the church.

Is there still a difference between following a GA member as an author and following them personally ? I have the feeling a few people went to my profile and followed me as member, when they meant to follow me as an author.

I had the feeling Harman would have a 'thal heritage somehow. Perhaps he got his mitochondria from the female thal and the DNA from his fathers (Pavel and Hartman). In that way they would have been among the first triads. If 'thal tradition is to keep the blood line pure and the two species are not interfertile, they would be shocked at the idea of a human with traces of 'thal. But as far as I recall Homo sapiens did mix with Neanderthals back when they co-existed, because scientists have found traces of them in us. Or am I wrong ? Anyway, it will be interesting to see whether 'thals and sapis will be ready to mix genes or whether scientific analysis will show it's a bad idea.

Well, the last couple of chapters were emotional and quite difficult to absorb. So I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks fr the next installment, so I can calm down and forget how badly Siggi hurt Gunni and vise versa. It will make it easier to see Dimitri and Siggi together. But I'm still hoping they will find a way to be a trio.

I guess it was mostly how the start of their time together was marred by the nasty bigoted remarks from those idiots. And their evil words had no foundation in fact since the boys are friends, not lovers. I hated to see Lee so deeply wounded, even thought it brought out the caring side of Chuck - but then I felt sad how Lee missed most of that, and obviously they didn't manage to talk about the matter during this trip. Lee's loneliness at college was perhaps partly a result of his fear of rejection, and that fear is born of stupid heartless people who refuse to accept what is as natural and human as blue eyes or musical talent.
