    Chapter 6

I had a feeling that Jose was pumping Richard for information to use against Phillips. I still can't figure out everyone's motives...and that's a good thing. Keep us guessing I love the flashes of Richard's fantasies. Very funny! I look forward to what's next.
  2. I started this series a while ago. I think I read the first two books...I'll have to go back and look and pick up where I left off. This a great series.
  3. Makes me think of "Finding Nemo" lol
  4. Yay! Prompts! I have an idea for the O. Henry prompt. Now I just need to write it.
  5. Penguins are pretty awesome There was a children's book written a few years ago about a same-sex penguin couple from the NY zoo. http://www.amazon.com/Tango-Makes-Three-Justin-Richardson/dp/148144994X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1460745633&sr=8-1&keywords=and+tango+makes+3

    Days 8 to 14

You brought tears to my eyes. These are very poignant and, at times, heart-breaking. Well done. Here's another
  9. Brilliantly crafted, all of them. I am very envious of your ability to find rhyme and meter in such a natural way. Your poetry flows very evenly and makes me run the gamut of emotions. I love your take on the prompts you decided to tackle. The 'fame' one was perfect! I had to laugh that we both used 'flibbertigibbet'. It's such an awesome word, isn't it? Your old-fashioned word poem reminded me of Lewis Carroll. The last one brought tears to my eyes. The pain expressed in that poem was palpable. Well done, sir.
  10. Thanks so much
  11. Thanks for the review, Addy. I love old-fashioned words. I had a fun time with that one. I'm glad some of the others spoke to you, too.
  12. Thanks, Parker. I really appreciate the review and am glad you liked them.
  13. Poem #7 Breath of Life Animating essence coalesced into Claymation figures, Mere golems without it. Poem #8 Slumbering, she waits, ready to perk up at a moment’s notice to happily release the elixir of life. Poem #9 I want to be famous to Toe-tapping, frowning people waiting in lines. As the polite, patient reminder that being a jerk Will not get your groceries scanned faster. Poem #10 Words The intimacy of ink on paper has been Replaced by Times New Roman or A

    Chapter 13

I figured that Reth was Tareth I'm glad he finally got to see Kye. Things seem to be on a bit of an upswing for Kye. I hope it continues, although there is still the matter of that pesky spy. I can't wait to read more. I'm really enjoying this story.
  17. There's still a Family Video down the street from me. Couldn't tell you the last time I actually went in there, though.
  18. I really enjoyed this. You wove the word list into the story seamlessly. I loved the discovery of the box and the story the contents told was heartbreaking. Great job.
  19. :wizard: Happy Birthday, Drew! Here's a different kind of pie cake for you
  20. Thanks so much I appreciate the review.
  21. A dish rag is like a washcloth for dishes. A washcloth is for people.
  22. I really appreciate your support and insight. If you want a hint about Thomas' affliction, just let me know. I needed the tissue box handy when I wrote #5. I'm still working on today's poem. It's giving me a little bit of trouble. Thanks for the review!
  23. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for the review
  24. You made my day with the Dorian Gray reference. I was torn between naming the poem after Narcissus or Dorian Gray, but went the Narcissus route. I love ice cream any time. My friends think I'm nuts lol Thanks for the review, Addy. I'm glad you liked them. Fingers crossed on not getting sick this year.
  25. Thanks, Tim. I'm glad you liked them. Unfortunately, that black dog is something I'm quite familiar with. Damn thing likes to hang around a little too much sometimes. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review
